  1. Lol you do have a serious issue sir. What has tip you off? The tuning experience or a shop you own or represent? My apologies for highlighting alternatives to expensive tuning in the NZ community after this week I gotten contacts for your location. Instead of posting cheap prices, I shown persons here I am not the just the average tuner. In fact Raptor Supercharger uses us to Tune Supercharge NA cars. I will remove it if you makes your horrible attitude comfortable.
  2. Which model? You can use the tactrix cable on any 2001+
  3. Over at XtremeRacingTuning.com they are offering a summer special for remote tuning for $375USD for Stage 1 and $450USD for Stage 2 https://www.facebook.com/XtremeRacingTuning/
  4. Yes the stock ecu will work well. EMS gives you quicker options in tuning, especially more functions. If you are comfortable with what you have, the tuning the OEM ECU/ECM is viable. Have a read here - http://xtremeracingtuning.com/2017/04/17/emspowertrain-review-thoughts/ I am the tuner for XtremeRacingTuning.com https://www.facebook.com/XtremeRacingTuning/ I am currently working on a similar car. The setup is nice for the Dom 1.5XTR TS http://xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=678
  5. Just sharing the information I am working on another Raptor Supercharged H6 3.0 5EAT https://www.facebook.com/groups/SubaruTuningInternational/permalink/287129068422598/ http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=748 https://www.facebook.com/XtremeRacingTuning/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/SubaruTuningInternational/
  6. Taking the highly tuned XRT 2008 JDM STI w/ a 2010+ STI 2.5 engine out before moving to the Syvecs Powertrain Solution. I do hope you enjoy it.
  7. Looking noce. Did you chose which EMS you are going for that you have support for?
  8. I would get the timing adjust since you are suffering on mileage. Can you send me a log? Usually at this age, the AVCS solenoid needs changing. I need to see whats happening.
  9. Did you had the timing chain adjusted?
  10. please review http://xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=511 Sorry was driving. II offer remote tuning; so yes I only use the Tactrix Openport 2.0 cable. It is fast.
  11. The 6th Gen Legacy/Outback can be easily be tune, but require a little more tuner insight to get the results, since full logging is not support like the older models. With only a handful of tuners, not many tune the ignition and the CVT functions and operations to a high degree that is needed to make the car a true derivable car - just to enjoy. Pleas review the following information to see what I mean. http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=695 Below is one of my customer who aided me tremendously to make the 6th Gen CVT to be the best it ever can be. Tuning was done to the AVCS, Fuel, Ignition, Fuel transition, DBW and may other maps that affects the CVT to make it what it is. Affecting the CVT is the most reward mod that it can be. _________________________________ West_Minist Subaru Expert Tuner Subaru Diagnostics & Logging Reviewer Engine Management Systems Tuner http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com [email protected] Facebook | Remote Tuning | XRT Viciously Tuned, Driven Hard
  12. Hello: Many thanks Willisnz. I hope I can contribute more here due to my time. I am not a full time tuner, since I have a day job in I.T./Telecommunications, but I enjoy what I do as you will see below. Now you will not see much data online about any cars to a critical level unlike what you will see on Xtreme Racing Tuning (XRT). So review the information for your general knowledge. The best value for any NA is tuning. Next is minor mods like the Intake and Exhaust system. Try to use what works. Don't use CAI that pulls air from the engine. A nice CAI is like the BMC http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=697 Exhaust design is critical and I usually recommend Magnaflow for that, but any other design with quietness is key http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=688 Any H6 that is older than 2008 will likely have AVCS issues on the left side. AFR sensors will also need changing including the MAF sensor being cleaned or replace. http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=100&t=592 For general H6 info and thanks for my International customers, you can browse the link here for more info: http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=100 To see what the 3.0 can do, please see here: http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=40 From my experience, the major mod for the H6 5EAT is the transmission operation. Once you make the necessary changes, one can enjoy the car tremendously. Please have a read here:- http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=509 I am not soliciting customers, but provide such information for your education. Again you will not find such detail information and comments any where else except from word of mouth from fellow mates who had cars tune from other tuners. _________________________________ West_Minist Subaru Expert Tuner Subaru Diagnostics & Logging Reviewer Engine Management Systems Tuner http://www.xtremeracingtuning.com [email protected] Facebook | Remote Tuning | XRT Viciously Tuned, Driven Hard
