  1. Just under $50 incl a couple of wheel nuts
  2. Yeah sorry I meant to say cross threaded. I'm sure it would've been all good with 4 but I didn't want to take that risk with 4 passengers All sorted now tho, Tony at RDL is a legend
  3. Doesn't have ABS All sorted now, Tony at RDL Performance is going to swap one in for me tomorrow morning! Thats service right there Don't want to drive down to Dunedin and back with a full car the way it is now
  4. Swapped my wheels over today to the ones that have good tyres on them, since I'm planning on going on a roadie down south tomorrow One of the studs is threaded on the front right. Has been like this for a while but not as bad Can I take the car into a tyre shop and have them put a new stud in? Or does it need to go into a mechanic? If so is it a big job? Cheers
  5. This the same forester? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/subaru/forester/auction-429509989.htm
  6. All done now. Massive thanks to thorpy for helping me out and for the beer and BBQ to top it off... what a GC Threading the cable through the door is a bit fiddly but if I can do it anyone can haha. The teflon tubing worked pretty well
  7. The first thing she said was "I'm so sorry I didn't see you because you were in my blind spot" to which I replied "well you should've checked it" I don't think she looked at all, I was moving at 50k's so I would only have been in her blind spot for three tenths of fuck all time
  8. Was driving down Riccarton rd just after the Deans ave roundabout and then "bang!" - a girl in a Nissan March pulled out from a park outside the 24hr dairy, without looking obviously. No way I could've avoided it It was just after 7 in the morning and I had my lights on, she would've seen me coming from a mile away if she used her mirrors
  9. I didn't do anything to it but some ditzy bitch did this to it: DSCF5225 by FlatFourNZ, on Flickr DSCF5237 by FlatFourNZ, on Flickr DSCF5224 by FlatFourNZ, on Flickr
  10. Also whats the best way to secure the amp under the seat?
  11. Hey guys I have the amp wiring all done except for the speaker wires which I'm stuck on. Anyone have any tips for threading them into the doors? Cheers
  12. Just went out and had a look, turns out one of my mates has put the kiddie lock on... Would that have made it easier to get into? Door still locks with it on
  13. Yeah it was definitely locked when I left it I really need to get an alarm installed haha
  14. Woke up this morning to find my car had been broken into and GPS nicked from the glovebox. Not impressed... They didn't shut the passengers rear door when they left it... and no damage to the car that I can see so I don't how they managed to get in Fucking scumbags
  15. Hey, can't really give a full review as I'm only running them on the front at the moment All I can say is that I've been really impressed with the grip so far, especially in the wet. Much better than my MY01s were. Not much road noise either Doubt you will be disappointed
  16. Hey man, i'm happy with how it sounds aye, definitely sounds like a Subaru. I heard it from outside the car the other day when my old man dropped me off at the top of the hill with my mtn bike, believe it or not but I could've almost mistaken it for a wrx when he took off I don't have a video that does it any justice sorry. But its 2.25" piping from the cat converter back with a decent sized resonator, thru to a Fujitsubo muffler. Its pretty quiet
  17. Sweet, I'll see what they can do anyway It is lowered
  18. Anyone know how much camber you can run without using camber bolts? Whiteline recommend something like -1.5deg front and -1 to 1.5deg rear, with max castor. If it's possible to run that on a factory Subaru then I won't be leaving until I see that on the alignment sheet haha
  19. Most tyre shops still stock the RE001s but they aren't selling them any cheaper. Got the 002s fitted to the front yesterday. First impressions are pretty good Also got an alignment done and although I asked specifically for more negative camber I ended up with less than what it was already running so I'm pretty annoyed about that... Didn't have time to get them to redo it on the spot but its going back there in a couple of weeks anyway so will sort it then This is the camber it's now running: LF=-0.45deg, RF=-1.01, LR=-0.39, RR=-0.24
  20. Just dropped my car off to get tyres fitted, and watched as one of the employees stalled it 3 times trying to drive it into the workshop. Not a good look
