  1. lol... I meant, how come you didn't know for sure where it was?
  2. The crimper is only $99. A lot for a one off job, but it's always good to have the right tools on hand. I would be tempted to use a hammer.
  3. Why do you only think it's at macbilt?
  4. Personally I wouldn't drive hard on mobil 98 if tuned for bp 98 or vice versa.
  5. So with your foot fully on the clutch pedal, the motor is still engaged?
  6. They have an NZ shop as well... NZ prices cheaper than AU prices, which is weird. Looks a bit too cheap to be any good or actually made in AU. For example: https://hakon.com.au/collections/impreza-wrx-gc-1993-2001/products/adjustable-rear-arm-set-subaru
  7. Not turned up yet... the Russian Postal Service is not fast. I'm a bit concerned that the KEIN mounts will be too soft, but I can always relpace the bushes. Do you know what rating the SAS mounts have? KEIN use 65A shore rubber.
  8. Haha, I ordered the KEIN mounts, thanks to @Andy_Mac, then found the Cusco mounts on special for only $4 more! Cusco would have been the safer option, but KEIN have custom colours, so my engine and gearbox mounts are going to match my roll cage. Winner.
  9. Aluminium. Not sure on thickness anymore... maybe 2.5 or 3mm. maybe only 2mm... def not 3mm
  10. Do you mean how many people have one for sale?
  11. He's has an EVO now. Quite a fast one by the look of it. http://nzsuperlap.co.nz/results/2018-results Maybe driving Scott Kreyl's car???
  12. I love my Ryobi 18v Impact Driver and Angle Grinder. Also have the large buffer and a drill. Got my eye on the tyre inflator.
  13. Just for strapping stuff down, mainly a spare wheel and jack etc, since there is no wheel well. There is one roughly in each corner... haven't tried using them yet.
  14. Not much more to add to be honest... could be the MAF, fuel pump or filter... maybe check all the plugs and leads as well.
  15. Surge tank in boot... probably would have been good to take a photo before putting the lid on.
  16. https://www.ebay.com/bhp/snake-oil Good for engines and hair loss.
  17. I was going to put some in my car, but found some genuine Snake Oil for a few bucks less. P.S. Apologies for the predictable comment.
  18. There are loads of events at loads of tracks all the time... where are you looking exactly?
  19. That will happen with a too sticky tire as well... for 03g a hard compound is needed... mediums will turn to butter in 3 hot laps and leave vast amounts of rubber spaghetti all over the track and the inside of the rims and up in the wheel wells
  20. Talk to Neil at Neil's Wheels for a most likely better opinion.
  21. The RE003 is also a street tyre... I thought you wanted a street tyre that will be ok for a track day as well? If you want an actual race tyre... just get some Dunlop 03Gs and be done.
  22. Can't see the image. Aren't you supposed to be auto-crossing today?
  23. That's good, I thought you were being a bit of a tosser buying those new
