they are huge difference, ra-r is base on spec-c, weight reduction 80kg if i memory is good.different turbo, vf42-vf37, lots of STI tuned up parts, 320hp vs 280hp, at the end ra-r use big 6pot brembo front calipers and two piece floating rotors,even the rear one has been redesigned, bigger than standard brembo rear.

i don't think this noise is from your leaking pipe, i have same problem as your one, been talking to subtech, they recon might be damaged blade or bearing noise, but they still said as far as still boosting ok, doesn't bother to fix. that's what they told me.
