Wrap em up or heatcoat them too.i done both.i like the sound some do some dont its an aggresive 4cylinder note simular to a 4g63/sr20 at low revs with a raspy top end sound i run a ewg of the uppipe and when the gate kicks in it sounds like a gated evo also guess any car period will sound a bit different with tuned 4into1 tuned headers

Goes ok but as you said the boost raises more in higher gears boostin 12 in first 14in secons and third and fourth no room to test 5th it only cut once turned it down after that . Its pretty much been set to the lowest posible setting right now closed it so its just slightly oprn will see how it goes on way to work
True there not very tuneable are they ?wud just be a waste if money then getting it dyno'd for it to have a negative result another cs user jason v6 had det with his sti ecu on phase 2 fory and ditched it for factory ecu if it was a straight plug and play and had no issues i wouldve been sti ecu'd ages ago

Its a turbosmart copy the cheapo 30$ one lol if the milk is sour ill just ditch it for a 14psi spring. What kinda ebc you heading for id love one just a tightarse at the moment but yeah they are the way to go better boost response and better holding boost and more accurate etc you looking at turbo upgrade yet?theres a cheap vf29 going at the mo in parts section

Hey guys i bought a cheapo manual boost tee from scarles today and im wanting to install it on my fory im runing an ewg with a 10 psi spring and was just wondering what goes where?also runing a boost controller would my lowest boost be 10 psi because of the spring?leaving me with adjustable boost 10psi upwards im wanting to adjust it right before factory cut out 14psi cheers

A mate of mine had exact problem with his 99 b4 even went for a cruise in it and had same symptoms felt like boost cut took to subarts and surely enough had to replace secondary and the tight arse replaced it with a primary turbo so hez runing two primary model vfs
