  1. I'm gonna guess and say that your factory bypass valve is actually mounted on the top mount intercooler? if so it would be 25mm or 34mm I cant remember which one exactly. You should remove the whole hose (look tidier) .
  2. Where about is the fuel regulator located? Yes total noob haha..
  3. Okay i actually sourced another MAF then i take a peek under the dash and notice two green connectors plugged in. I unplugged them and took the car for a drive and the car drove sweet boost came on nice and clean. I turned her off and started it back up and went for another drive then the issue came back. Could it be some old codes?

  5. well I'm not sure if it was the right way to reset it but I did leave the terminals off overnight the day i changed everything.
  6. Well i might give that a try anyway, Ive put injector cleaner in it today as well still to no avail. Its also running a walbro fuel pump so I know it shouldn't be fuel cut.
  7. Yeah I've tried another AFM off my mates wrx and it still the same issue..hmm speedo cable you say? thats quite interesting because my speedo does read a tad bit faster then the actual speed of the car. No engine check light...
  8. My wrx is driving me crazy lol. When I'm reaching around 2500rpm my car suddenly cuts out then i quickly change gear and its back to normal then I accelerate it cuts again then it has no power even if I have my foot holding down the throttle, then all of a sudden the power comes back on. Ive changed all four coil packs, Brand new plugs(iridium),new o2 sensor,crank and cam sensor, knock sensor, coolant sensor, intake gaskets even new crank pulley all the timing marks are bang on and there's no vacuum leaks. I'm at a loss here as I hardly have time to work on it. Its been parked up in my garage for couple months now. anyone here have a clue to what is going on??? 94 gc8 tuned headers td05h 3inch TBE etc etc etc....

Yeah as title says I'm helping my mate finish up a WRX One of the camshafts on the right exhaust side went bloody missing and there is a spare here off same Car but its the left hand exhaust he reckons its fine to do this. I have a gut feeling its wrong . Would it mess up the timing or valves hitting piston Unless the camshafts are identical?.

Got my car to work and hooked it up to a scanner, and yeah few codes got pulled up 52.Parking position switch 44.Turbocharging pressure control output signal 43.Accelerator pedal switch 33.Vehicle speed sensor 32.Oxygen sensor 24.Idle control system malfunction 15.Fuel injector #2 Haha oh well at least this gives me my answer( well hopefully:/) What is code 44 though? is that got to do with the boost solenoid?
  12. i figured that would've been the problem. I swapped the original ones back in and it made no difference. i even swapped ecu with my mates, still the same..
  13. Hey Guys Ive finally got my 94 wrx back on the road. Ive double checked everything before going for a test drive..I took it out for its first drive when suddenly it stalls but it doesn't turn off i hold my foot on the gas and out of nowhere it kicks back again. It really annoys me lol Ive got told it was a airflow meter, I changed that and still same problem. Just wanted to check if anyone went through this. Another odd thing is that it wont do this if i lean on the gas a bit. help please haha.. Car has current mods: 3inch turbo back. Equal length extractors. Trust Pod Filter. Walbro 500hp fuel pump. Full A/C delete. sti injectors Bov Removed rocker cover breathers. Replaced with simota filters Just listed mods just incase it affects the car.
  14. My legacy is doing the same, my turbo is on the way out haha , does it kind of flutter? if its turbo of course, also could be your spigot bearing.

The motor in my WRX gave up :-[ lol..Still runs but has a terrible knocking sound lol.I have a v8 WRX motor in my shed it was off a auto so i know it didn't have a hard life(car got rear ended) as you know there is already a problem the v8 motor is a 8 bolt setup with mine only being a 4 bolt..being kind of hori i wanted to see if this would bolt up with my current gearbox.is this possible? lol if not my other option was to strip my current block and build it up with new crankshaft, pistons, conrods etc..or if someone can source me a cheap 8 bolt gearbox ( working of course ).. so basically will the 4 bolt gearbox slide on to the 8 bolt motor ? or am i being cheap lol.

Id suggest grabbing a flat screwdriver and a flashlight(if its a sedan) the lock usually gets jammed in the wrong place just flick that ( Get someone to help you from the outside ) and when you do get the person to pull the boot up.. hopefully that helps I haven't dealt with a subbie with this problem at work ( Mostly Nissan) should be the same concept though.

  21. betta post my track hack(in progress) dont worry i got a set of powdercoated v3 sti rims going on:) while i was at work, afterwards of course I changed my header setup from this to this Alot more mods coming..already purchased injectors, 500hp intank pump etc.. need to get more pics up as car is evolving every day lol..

Internal flap is welded lol..sucks. saw it when i changed my clutch today, had to take off downpipe..cant be bothered changing housing just gonna keep it as is until i change my setup again.. im running 10 psi at the moment until i can get a tune.. im planning to run 14psi (safe setting or shortening the lifespan of the turbo lol)

  24. haha the white Wrx(bilz 1) comes to my workshop for warrants sounds sick, and the green wrx hatch next to the yellow fozzy they both drive past my workshop on the limiter most of the time..
