Havent been on in a while ( since i came back from aus) I\'m building up a type R Sti I fitted a twisted turbo setup With a T3/T4 setup and 44mm wastegate tuned length headers and walbro fuel pump. I am stuck on the fuel side of things, would factory injectors(yellow) be enough to handle things or would a split fuel rail system be more on par? I dont work on it often( stuck in the shed) I have a mallory FPR with bigger fuel rails and bigger injectors sitting around but I am stuck on installing this is there a simple way of installing this setup? I only work on it every other weekend so I am in no rush Cheers So I\'m asking what would be the best fuel setup for this be?
Just use A LOT of WD-40 for those turbo bolts, Previous guy rounded the s**t out of the bolts when I fitted my down pipe, ended up heating them up with gas and use vice grips to pull them out, pain in the arse.
I don\'t like it but it doesn\'t bother me i have a C west kit at home waiting to go on. Plus that lower part was scratched up pretty bad from someone muffler backing into it.
All done and dusted:) I actually started yesterday but happy with end results, kinda want to get a c west front bumper now lol. I\'ll put a photo up of it on here .
Cheers Guys cant wait to get stuck into it.. Wish I could just take the week off and just do it tomorrow but oh well lol. yeah it has a bov hose adapter I just don\'t like where Its located lol. also whats best to use to trim bumper? I have a angle grinder( small one ) I just don\'t want it to look uneven.
I know its been talked about a lot and I\'m not here to add my 5 cents to say if its good or not. I brought me front mount intercooler for my little weekend project, My car is a 1994 WRX and i have got hold of a V3 piping kit. What would I need to look out for in advance?. Cheers
Did one coil pack die? Another coil pack may have buggered out as well. When I was having problems with my wrx I changed nearly everything else. Turned out I had the wrong plugs. I also changed to a Blue Afm, seemed to help a lot as well.
I got given a t3/t4 turbo as a gift. It was suppose to go on a rb26 but my mate ended up going down another route. Anyway has anyone ran one of these on their Suby? i know it would be pretty laggy. I got a td05 currently in mine and that\'s pretty laggy (the equal length header doesn\'t help with low down power). should I run this turbo or just keep mine as is( so i dont blow it up haha).
I know i would need supporting mods to run it, just seeing if its worth it.
Sounds silly but when the tank was replaced was it bleed properly? you still could have a pocket of air forcing the water out of the overflow which would cause your loss of water. Remember to go buy the marks of the overflow bottle and not just to fill it right to the top as the pressure would just force it out anyway.
Yeah they should be able to fit. Yeah if its the 4wd model you can convert to rwd , but best bet is to leave it. The non turbo gearbox\'s aren\'t too strong. But there\'s heaps of info on here about pro\'s and cons(although there is not many pro\'s)
Well just make sure the car is in good shape( no oil leaks, regular service history and rust)
