  1. Yep i remember reading up on the v3/4 "sti upgrade" and its only compatible for phase 1 engines. Version 5/6 foresters have the Phase 2 engines, starting from late 98. For some reason Im thinking that the upgrade to the Sti gear is limited to only the v 3/4 models. i seem to remember someone trying the setup on a later model foz and it not going too good.
  2. Yaaaay! thankyou Neil, exactly what i was after. MMMMM!!! wheels look the business.
  3. Thread Jack!! Anyone able to chop these wheels onto this one for me? onto the forester obviously. Sorry bout the image sizes, but Im hoping someone can work their wonders for me!
  4. AFAIK the dB limit is 90. Would love to be proven wrong and it be 94dB, as this would then make my car legal.
  5. Custom Sub box arrived from Oz. Will be getting it prepared and installed in the upcoming days.
  6. Currently running a GFB GT Hybrid full recirc. Had it on 50/50 but might not be my thing. Definetly recommend one, excellent build quality and very reliable.
  7. Sprayed a can of UEC into my forester, Engine flush, New Oil (Castrol Edge 5w30) and also completed a Resonatorectomy. Successful day for my Fozzy i think.
  8. DIG!! So, viable upgrades for a standard MY99 S/Tb would be yellow 440cc injectors, v5/6 sti ecu and the standard forester AFM (seems the same as a v5 wrx AFM). wind the boost to around 14psi and done? would anything else need to be done to make sure the car runs as it should?
  9. Ice-cream night sounds like fun, i might even make an appearance if im down those ways.
  10. Changed my AFM to the one i bought off Stoffa. Seemed to make a very marginal difference to the lurching etc. However, i then reset my ECU and all was fine, seems to be running great. Now i want to use some UEC as i dont think the Foz has ever been pampered with the stuff. Just need to find somewhere nice, quiet and secluded.
  11. Went for a WOF. Failed on my baffle not being welded in, and not getting a 100mm gap between me and the road. Oh the joys.
