Yes, Yes and Yes lol. Might be a bit overkill but time will tell I guess. I see what the SC40 made on CNDYMAN but hes 2.5l from memory and some serious $$$ in the engine I am guessing. I will be stock heads and such just Turbo, fueling, FMIC and ECU effectively.

Dont bite, thats no fun! Its an SC42. Should be interesting to see how it goes.

Might stick to the HDI kit as thats two votes for it and its not silly expensive. I think the turbo should be ok, might be a little on the big side if anything but I think it will be ok.

Maybe it was an exhaust... I will keep digging but HDI is front of the decision line right now. I dont think I will be making the power those guys were but I want to give everything the best shot at it while I am spending.

I know a year or so ago a lot of guys around here were chasing that 300kw mark and kept falling short, a Intercooler change made a difference for at least one of them. Hence why I ask. I might give an HDI kit a whirl.

Just wondering if anyone can point me to a good 250 kw atw+ FMIC. I remember there being some discussion last year around good and bad quality intercoolers and I think people were buying them either via Shred or STM and seeing a big improvement in results, can someone confirm? May have been Funkys build come to think of it...

Trademe wheeling and dealing is the way to go. Or even on the dodgy Facebook sites you can nab a good deal and if you have a brain you can complete the ownership paperwork and claim the plate so no one can aruge. I have done this a few times and net result is my current plate cost me nothing by the time I brought and sold a few.

Be interested to see how it goes for you. My small scoop is only fibreglass and it has pulled a few bolts loose before on the track. And a decent size truck coming the other way will flex my bonnet just enough to be disconcertning.

Love the little scoops. Your bonnet layout is very similar to mine. Have you had any issues with the bonnet flexing at high speed?

Hmm interesting to know. I am kind of tossing up between Garrett, a few cheaper options and also the ones Steve Murch put on his Facebook the other night. I dont really have a set power figure in mind but anything north of 250 kw would be pretty cool I think. I am gently leaning towards Garrett, do it once do it right etc.

I have done a few laps there and had no issues. Went to Semi slicks last time with no issues, I normally overfill a little. Dont know if that really helps or not but makes me feel better.

I think Boost cut is about 14 PSI on version 1. Might be something worth considering.

The one Loner linked to above is pretty good. Bolted right onto my v5 AFM and on the dyno showed it wasnt restrictive at all. Although the wait from Fortyone was a bit long when I got mine.

Atmo venting BOV might make your run rough. The 50-50s dont seem to be to bad for it though.

A friends Silver Legacy wagon is missing from the Wanganui area stolen today between 8.30 AM and 6PM from the middle of town. Car is an 01 BH wagon, non turbo, manual and completely stock. Wont turn heads but if anyone sees one burnt out, crashed or offered to them cheap please call the Police or feel free to txt me about it.
