At higher Revs the water stops flowing. Found that out when some guys were running tests on them.
EG33 overheats as soon as you convert to manual and drive over the set max rpm for the auto. Beleve its a design fault and that was why a manual was never offered on a SVX.
There is stuff you can do to improve things. Depends on your aplication.
Ive heard some things work while the same thing tryed on something else kept empting the contents of the raditor.
I got to find a link where that covers the whole cooling issue.
Why get the cylinders lined?
They come with thick liners any way. Some guys bore then out to about 3.5L kept NA and race them with no sleeves being added.
You would only get them sleeved if you did 3.5L and did forced induction.
Any way should be more worried about sorting cooling problems 1st
I remember seeing a pic of a EJ20? (maybe EA82) and FWD Gbox on the back of the brat on USMB?
They had lined up the CV shafts up to where the center of the rear wheels.
It looked like that would just fit between the rear wheels and the back of the cab.
I still havnt done any thing about it :
I may try up grading the bulbs 1st since It will be the cheapest option.
The reversing lens is only approx 50x50mm square on each light.
Other wise I mite end up wiring up some other lights.
Thats what stopped me with my one. I was going to fit a 3.3 and 5 speed sti box and drive train in to my old brumby ( same one DRFVDR has now )
It was just going to cost so much. So much work was needed. I also lacked the use of the welder which didnt help either.
I desided to sell and invest that money into my other project.

Intresting read. Not much info on it tho.

Cameras that detect rego plates could be quite handy looking out side ya house for dodgy guys.
I wonder if the guy changes his plates or that he hasnt changed the ownership on that legacy So he cant get tracked down?
It was a bit more than little lol. I had to grab my comp and tv to stop it falling off my desk

A good job to have at the moment is to be a glasser.
I drove past the old Munmissple Electricity Dept building ( Now Bob Browns Hi Fi ) today.
Alot of the windows were blown out. The whole street was covered in broken glass.
There was a power cut due to the earthquake this morning at 2.08am.
Walked outside looked down bealy ave. Man it was dam dark. The traffic lights were working.
Man is it just me or does it seem like the earthquakes were getting stronger?
That 1 that happened 5 mins ago really shook the house.
Had 4 or 5 small shakes since then.
Which leone are you talking about dude? Are you meaning your RX? or the next of leone shape?
I used to put my brumby in 4wd low on tarmac only on the straight parts up steep hills. Clutch was a bit shot and slipped badly
Some of the 4wd on Demand omega gboxs where different and did allow you to run in 4wd on tarmac. But think that was on some of the odd ball JDM versons ive seen.
I had one guy come look at my old brumby earlyer in the year. I was telling him that you dont use the 4WD on the tarmac.
He then told me that must had been why he had blown up a few gboxs etc on his one.
Yup my 1800cc Legacy is fitted with 4WD on demand.
Handy if you get stuck somewhere.
You do not use it on tarmac.
It has no center diff like brumby so is locked in 50/50 split when in 4wd.
If you use it on tarmac it binds up badly. Its fine to use on shingle/ loose terrain under foot.
It can be a nussence sometimes cause the button stays stuck on.
