  1. yup wrx wagon seats fold.. And depends on how many people you are taking to the snow.. put boards in the front seat back and place down side of upright on door side.. good for one board. Or lean front seat back and place boards there. Or boards fit diagonally from foot well inrear seats to the seat belt (c pillar) on the other side..
  2. rannndom... seems like a real oddball.. got STI bumper and looks like sti motor - and perhaps one could see those as four pot brakes, but a wrx shell? identity crisis? the bumper / lights still dont match either
  3. yer agreed its supposed to be a V4 STI, Type R, but it looks really really confused.. Note things in my previous post.. and the lights have holes round the grill
  4. more the point what the fuk it is? type R being 2 dr.. but roof scoop and watersprayer? did the v4 type R get one? And i've not seen a type R with roof scoop? and those random bonnet vents (not version 4) has a version 5/6 front bumper... Almost a front end facelift minus the lights? Version 4 type r.. what?
  5. different engine.. and they were "maxed" out. Who knows how safe that is
  6. Version 7/8 rears also fit into a v1-6, although is a bit tighter over the rear wheel archs and the back of the seats..
  7. I'd save ya pennies and get something nicer.. but thats me.
  8. or like my 18 x 8's that all but hit the struts but clear 4 pots..
  9. The offset seems low.. but its more about the shape of the spokes that is going to matter than the offset. Best idea is to just try one. There isn't an answer just by asking "will +38 fit?" Clearing Gaurds wont be your issue i wouldnt think - You have a V8 right? so clearing the Brembo's is more an issue? Also is the car lowered?
  10. It was mine.. thing was really well put together.. And for all that my car was dying - made it stonk along really well. Cudnt give you any specifics though - am told it did in excess of 220km/h - thus no speed cut
  11. pity - sold my v3 manifold over the weekend.. fuel regs - if you have two right rails you can run two of the factory regs no problems. But if you have an aftermarket item you only need one. Here is the pipe work to run the two right rails.
  12. I used to have 18*8 in my BG5, they were a reasonably tight fit. 19*7 would be better if you could find em (altough more likely to find 19*8 or wider), and you will have to roll the gaurds regardless i think. Also depends what suspension you are running. offset is pretty much a phantom - just go and try rims you like, picking things to start with in the 40-50 offset range
  13. that sounds like a total rip.. Brand new ones are also rather expensive. Lots of second hand ones floating around, ive heard $350 bantered about, but im not sure if thats brand new or rebuilt and per corner or rear/front etc sorry. you can get 2nd hand ones for lots cheaper than that.
  14. read down this thread http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php?topic=67.0
  15. that ecu is the same as i what i had pre - link. Came out on the Version 3 STI Jap imports, maybe also the version 4. What are the sequence of long and short lights? [edit]: I think Oxygen sensor is on the down pipe side not the intake side. It shud measure the o2 content on the exhaust gases and alter the combustion accordingly. (i think). Back with research shortly back: yes almost certain the o2 sensor is on the header/uppipe or down pipe (at the top just off the turbo) and looks similar to
  16. td-05 shud be fine to more than that.... (how many kms has the turbo done) engine coping is the other question, but both shud cope fine. version 2 (guessing with the td.05) should have a closed deck and forged bottom end.. stand to be corrected though.
  17. have pm'd you as i have some lying around. both front and rear i think
  18. its pretty easy man.. Mount a can, then bung up the intake where the breathers enter it.. Route the pipes your have removed from intake to the catch can. Have a play to figure out what bits you need in terms of piping (size, length) etc.., then go for it. There is a breather on each rocker cover (on the top) and one at the back (top of) the crank case which is pretty close to your turbo compressor wheel. most catch cans only have to inlets, so figure out which two you are going to route to the can.. Im planning to route two the two rocker cover breathers together then into one inlet, and the crank case breather into the other can inlet. (wheather it is safe to route the two rocker covers together im not sure, but i dont see it being an issue)
  19. good report on the improvements from STB - to STI sway bar. Wonder how the rear tyres will stand up now? Will have my rear bar up for grabs in a week
  20. I cant find where i posted my headers so il add them here turbo is also back today, so it might be ready over the weekend
  21. yer thats sounds right on the money, just like Matts old one
  22. what did you go back to? And what do you mean undrivable?
  23. so what codes are you getting? ecu - remove the passenger side foot plate and you'll see the ecu, on it will have something like 6S or 8S.. post up
