  1. Japanparts.com I like the Zerosports ones. If you want it? contact Mac@ Fortyone.co.nz and he'll give ya a price.
  2. I know a few years ago, I was a dyno day and the BE lagacys were between 130-140Kw atw
  3. sounds like problem I had, check Temp sensor, (cheapest out of a new O2 and AFM)
  4. single turbo, twin I/C? new thing to try out on the car..... theres anothre pic of the othre side showing that theres at lease one shock on the bike. Maddness!!!! but if ever gets built, hopefully LTNZ will let it on the road here, not like the WRX quad bike which they said was too dangerous
  5. haha na thats another model, which is more expensive yet doesnt have the 2L, sport shift auto or leather seats. I got a new car cheaper than what i paid for my V9. Even more so when a Second Hand RS leggy is like 8K with 360 000kms over here
  6. To be honest, I nearly brought a New STi at start of this year, only thing that stop me was i didn want to put up with the gf nagging about driving a manual in brisbane city. (I ended up with a '09 Honda Civic R) which is auto but has fancy paddle shift hehe. I didnt want to downgrade to a normal WRX after owning a few STi's, but if it came in an auto, I would of brought it for the gf and waited a little longer to buy my STi (which going to plan will be around tax refund time next year.) Only thing bad about this if its not a Dual-clutch or some other fancy F1 type greabox like whats in the EVO or the likes. Thats the real issue here Sounds like Subaru has a few spare Autos in stock and reckon that they put them in the STi to get rid of them
  7. Guess its the STi for people that own Apple products.
  8. EBC are crab, and Endless are great but pricey. Have a go at Bendix Ultimates, cheap price and u wont out break them in a daily driver.
  9. Sorry to hijack, but your info on the blitzen isnt right. STi has nothing to do with the Blitzen models. Really in fact they are just a standard Legacy with a Bodykit, different interior, and different spring/shock setup. Its done by a company called Porsche Designs. (which has a slight link to Porsche)
  10. Factory Subaru Shocks are KYB and cant be rebuilt in NZ. Stocks NZ give me contact in aussie who rebuilds them, but even they said they would have to strip them, then wait for parts from Japan. Have you tried the likes of Fortyone automotive? (fortyone.co.nz) they can get things direct from Japan, so could ask him for a price on OEM shocks if you must have them.
  11. the rear windows are glue in, so you going to have to find some piano wire and cut them out, Then glue them into new car. If you never done this before, there will be a high risk that you may break the glass while trying to take it out as any wrong pressure will break glass. also Get proper windscreen sealer too. Its going to be mission......good luck!!
  12. look up pedo bear on wiki........
  13. The "VIP" style is huge in Japan. Add that with the gangsta look all the muppets want these days, of course these cars are going to be the "in" thing. Im surprised theres not more on the road. Hopefully the Kei mini-van craze doesnt get to NZ
  14. Ive always asked for Gates belts. They may not be the cheap, but they are good. Alot of OEM belts are gates made anyway.
  15. Depends on how bad it is, you may be able to do the Lighter trick to the belt to clean it up.
  16. Cant you started motor be repaired? theres not much which goes wrong with Subaru starters that they need to be fully replaced.
  17. what rpm does this happin? Does it happen during gearshifts between 4-5Krpm? If yes, then Welcome to the VOD (valley of death) club.
  18. More offen that not, if its in Japan, there be some of them in NZ. Look at "new" WRX (v11) there were a few imports in NZ way before NZ started selling them.
  19. Google is your friend...... Top 3 results: http://www.subaru.jp/accessory/archives/as2006/e_car/car/car06.html http://www.carview.co.jp/tms/2005/just/subaru_blitzen2006/ http://www.fhi.co.jp/news/05_10_12/05_12_19_1.pdf A tip for looking for info, try looking at Yahoo.co.jp and Google.co.jp and select "sites from Japan" They may all be in Japanse but some sites have english and then theres translation sites too. You can still get some info from these sites.
  20. http://www.syms.jp/products/impreza/gc/ex.html Google could be your friend here.....
  21. Whats been done to your engine so far?
  22. You should know now that small bits of plastic on cars cost the most money!
