Had a guy put a deposit on it an has come from nelson to pickup the car... hes now asking if I have access to internet banking so he can deposit the money in my account an pickup car an drive it away... now 1 its a weekend so the transfer won't go through until monday an he'll be long gone by then. 2 its very easy to cancel a internet banking deposit... theres nothing but his word stopping him from canceling the deposit an pissing off with my car an money... you think this is a scam ? would anyone here do this to sell a car? to me it has scam written all over it...

    full spray question:

I think its more like 5, unless you know a guy who will do it for cash black is also a colour that will take abit more time to be done right as blemish an imperfections show up easy on a black car
  8. yea i facebooked it but nothing or interest came up
  9. most of those cars are ugly an embarrassing , and thats not saying much considering my current ride. but some cool ones in there
  10. you could try the forum sponsors? or maybe someone local has a trade account
  11. im not a big fan of the chomes but they can be nice on the right car an style of mag today liquid ice fixed my never ending boost problems I am very grateful for his help ^^
  12. FUK YEA SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW, had my first proper boost in like 6 months LOL.Liquid fixed it up for me turned out one of the intercooler pipe bolts had come off an was leaking badly(I swear it was there when I put it together very funny) he also fixed other issues related to my bad install of piping ;D replaced a few clips an stuff ;D VERY VERY VERY HAPPY ;D thanks again Liquid Ice!!! (im alil embarrassed of my car an lack of mechanic skills now)
  13. fuk no, you know how much it costs to insure my car 3rd party with previous "boy racer" history O_O 800$!!!! free glass cover was nice... No but seriously it gets driven maybe once a fornight if im lucky, its wof an regd, but hopefully I will get to drive it abit more when the turbo an Gbox issues are sorted... ive been biking to work everyday for almost a year now... I see cheap runabouts come on TM all the time but why spend 800$ on those when I can spend it on my subaru!
  14. brake cleaner + turbo = fail thou? im heading around to liquids place hes offered to have a look (thanks dude)
  15. im real keen to start tinkering but my drive way is blocked by a big 4wd >.<
  16. well, after replacing my uppipe ive had nothing but problems. I put the turbo back on after leaving it off since the last stint. I took her for a drive today(with the coils not bolted in properly ops) and it has a massive boost leak. Like im hitting 3k car starts hissing with boost, I cant see where its coming from an I had quick check of the boost plumbing seems all good. I did actually make 1 mistake when i was reinstalling, the turbo intake piece hose clip wasn't holding tension so I just left it seeming as it was only the intake piece. That my problem? its a huge leak, like all boost is going out if where ever its coming from (yay i get to disassemble it for a fourth time >.<) the other thing was idle problems, it started first pop as usual. drove off down the st fine. Rolled up to the lights an the thing is dropping idle an almost stalling (coils were checked at this point) would boost leak cause this idle problem? im hoping like truck I can find the leak an fix it an problem solved but is anything EVER that easy ?
  17. wasn't by chance a cheap Chinese amp? once apon a time long ago I made the mistake of buying a brand new Chinese amp with XXX rated output, it was 100$ seemed legit, got the amp plugged it in, it went for about 2 seconds, smoked up burning plastic smell an fried itself. (later confirmed it was STUFFED, basically the capacitor wasn't high enough rated for the output or something I was told, disassembled took detailed pics an thats what i was told) Took it back he wouldn't refund it because it was "badly installed' I was lol prove it, he reckons a loose wire touched the other negative wire an fried it.. I was like F off you cheap XXXX give me my money back, he refused.(that reminds me I have illegal window breaking todo) brought a decent 2nd hand unit for 50$ installed without changing any wiring an it went first time an never stopped to this day almost 2 years later fukn dick head trademe sellers. yea yea i installed it wrong its real hard to assemble a few wires you slimey bastard. cough rant over p.s dont buy from cheap asain imports places they are dodgey as hell have like a 20% failure rate.theyre not cheap for no reason.DRAGON AUDIO = FAIL
  18. get some classic 16 inch sti wheels, they will give you the best bang for buck, they can easily be painted any colour to suit your taste an they will likely out perform any other mag at the 500$ mark... and also tyres will be cheaper than 17s, I doubt youd notice the difference of an inch plus you could corner harder with out any sorta rub the only ting better than the 16inch sti wheels is the 17inch sti wheels which are around double the price, you might be able to pickup a set for 800$ with some ok tread tyres if you are lucky alternately there are some cool gtb wheels I think the 2001-2003 gtb wheels look really good on the older subarus
  19. its not a huge job i just dont wana pay 1300$ for something i know is 5 hours work the bit i need paint is already primed an il redo it to my stanadard before giving it to them. I just dont wana paint myself as i dont have the workshop to do it in. dont expect it to be absolutely mint, but hey i dont wan it to be a diff colour than the rest of car lol
  20. ouch that sucks dude sorry to hear.always happens to the nice peple to
  21. i would say about 200-400 for this job at a guess, and you wana goto someone who knows subarus dont take it to your wof shop unless you know they can handle the job. Honestly if i had spent all my money with tony at rdl performance i would be about 2000$ richer by now we should seriously start a DIY forum section, people write up an post pics vids, we could become very popular very quickly. The wealth of knowledge on the net is amazing, rs25.com has diy write ups the only problem is they are BS searching to try find the good ones
  22. eh most of them charge the world aye haha
