yes you're in an identicle position as I am, however I called Stewart at Strong for Subaru and told him what I wanted, 3 days later he rang me back saying the stereo surround and separate AC control just came in stock and did I want it? needless to say I jumped on it and it cost me far less than a new one or one off Trademe. A+ would trade again will follow with pics once installed. and no these basic factory units have a harness with plug on them for each unit (stereo and AC) and don't sun an amp. and as sobanoodle said, if you get the adapter plugs they're easy as f**k. that said I still like to get the soldering iron out.

Hey team, I've got a wee project on the go, and I'm finding my stock sounds are a little... well.... ****.... I'm after some good track sounds, pit lane flybys, onboard, tires scretching, crashes (hopfully not your pride and joy) etc, pretty much anything you have, and because no one sits at a track with a Mic and recorder, the best I can do I pull the sound from peoples videos. So if you have anything, preferably on youtube, that dosnt have some arbitrary DnB soundtrack over it, and you think it depicts some good action, fire me the link. Your sounds may even feature in some national radio audio. thanks peoples, looking forward to seeing (and hearing ) what you have. :-)

I see Strong for Subaru have one for a Rev. D - however this has the duel zone climate control, which does not work with a Rev. B setup. reasonable price though... a good option for some one with the later revision legacy.

Hey team, has anyone come up with a reasonably priced solution to the "I can't replace my headunit because it's integrated with the aircon" issue? Ive seen replacement panels on Trademe for $659 but that's a bit steep.

Does anyone have any suggestions for shock replacements for a BP Legacy? im keen on maybe going a little lower and stiffening up the car a little, and ajustables are certinly an option, but brands? Models? and where to get them from? and any other options? interested to hear from anyone who's been down this path with a BP specifically, mainly for street/daily driver duties. cheers
