  1. Well technically it is a case of your people speaking to their people, so your insurance company would deal with his insurance company on your behalf. So what ever your arrangements are with your insurance company regarding your mods/things/etc you want to keep in the event of a write-off would apply. I had a car written off previously - alcy/drunk driver drove up me bum, and I got to keep all the things I had specified (wanted to keep) in the event of a write-off. If you haven't specified anything talk to your insurance company first thing Monday morning and ask the question as it might just help sorting things quicker. Its a mazing what some companies will do if you only ask the right person (hence call on monday, very few managers work weekends). TTTB
  2. Here is another story to it as well: http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/1998896/Compo-payouts-to-be-cut
  3. +1, although I might try to dismantle one and see if I can transfer the indicator bit over... Since I did get me hands one a set for cheap cheap...
  4. OK Did the reporter say May have or will, Did ACC Minister Nick Smith say May have or will??? I just read every single article about ACC available and there is nothing that says it will happen, only similar articles to what I had posted earlier as per below... that it may happen pending being introduced to parliament after a pending decision on motor vehicle levies... [quote name='subieboy said: i]may have to increase the levy by 129%[/i] (thats percent not dollars) NOT WE ARE GOING TO....From this article: http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/1997590/Big-changes-needed-at-ACC-minister-says Here is a link to what tv3 said: http://www.3news.co.nz/News/Smith-We-need-to-get-ACC-costs-under-control/tabid/209/articleID/94024/cat/87/Default.aspx Now the above means it MAY increase if or when he introduces it to parliament and then gets, to go to select committee, i.e. follow the process of parliament, and then maybe it gets read into law (if at all)... So in other words, Maybe not will, maybe. Read the last sentence of the article if you are confused at all...
  5. Actually it was Michael Cullen that needs to be blamed since he HID the info about the blowout for months, Ps he is the labour leader now, so...
  6. Uhrm yea the article said they may have to increase the levy by 129% (thats percent not dollars) NOT WE ARE GOING TO....From this article: http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/1997590/Big-changes-needed-at-ACC-minister-says
  7. Or buy a complete after market electronic boost control system suh as a Profec B SPec II, look in Tardme/Webuy/etc for new and 2nd hand ones... or if you need to replace your solenoid, go to a air shop and ask for a compatible/suitable replacement, it will most probably be cheaper than your average dealer price...
  8. Thats cos it is his mum that mixes it for him.. ;D Shale, Bunnings has/had a buffer for $40 odd (ozito brand, & I think the special might still be going if you hurry to the big green shed closest to you)... ;D
  9. haha I had the same thought... OH Wait I might have to do so too...
  10. E-Tune is a trim level... Much like Toyota's GL, GLS, etc... Or Fords, XT, S, ect (or like the new G series & non G series) The reason why E-Tune are only on the "D" revision models is because they were the last of the model range and Subaru had to do something to stay on a MARKETING par with Mitsubishi, Toyota, Lexus, etc... : : : : : Car Manufacturer & Dealers Modes operandi 101: "Dream up some cool marketing gimmick, and use it to show case old model against competitor's new model untill our new model is availble..." I use the above on a daily basis at work because my product is exactly the same as my closest competitor, hence I need a clever sales/marketing trick to get the sale and deny my competitor the sale So all say: TRIM LEVEL...
  11. Meh time to get a new one then, the curse is trying to tell you: Buy a TURBO Imprezza, no chance of the Curse then following you to a new NA ;D
  12. E-TUNE was in interior trim level (optional) in Japan - it got ticked more often than not. In NZ, to combat imports and their level of kit, the E-Tune was standard fare... From the old forums pre meltdown (I copied and pasted to Word file). Also just some more useless FYI: NINJA EDIT

  19. Cant remember the exact year, however some std WRX's had them fitted as standard fitment from about ver 3... (might have to google/wiki the year and version it started from). The fourpots are also the same as the Nissan skyline fourpots and as found on Mazda's (and among others I believe the Toyota Prado has the same calipers as well??)
