    Air intake

yup, that pic was from mega meet last year..... anywho back on topic...... snorkelectomy ios a good upgrade, marley 90mm cold air intake is alsoa good mod IMHO, If your gonna leave the intake in the guard i would reccoment blocking off the hole that the old air intake came through into the engine bay, otherwise you will be sucking hot air from the engine into the guard and in the intake, would only be minute but still...... a gain is a gain!

lol your both wrong, it was ms paint'd ( or equivilent crappy program). my foz is the red one in the header of the page

    Air intake

done the same "marley 90mm" intake on my foz, i ran right out the bottom of the car so it is sucking from below the drivers side driving light, just had to add some mesh to the bottom of the pipe to stock sucking in stones and small children.... :-\
  5. head unit and tacho don't work? gutted!
  6. holy crap 2 head units and 2 tachos! now you just need another steering wheel for the passenger!

    V8 scoop on a Foz?

yup i got a custom made scoop for my foz, pretty sure a v8 scoop won't bolt up, v7 doesn't for sure. have a talk to spuddling (if shes still on here) it was her partner that made it for me, a1 fibreglass in hamilton, great job
  11. damn courier post, didn't leave my dvd! :'(
  12. leaky? theyre just a bush.... i'm a little confused. you have the right bushes for the lower arm from what i can see if its the lower arm (as in the trade me auction) bushes that are worn, the new ones need to be pressed in with a press machine, easier to buy the rear mounts complete from subaru, just make sure you get forester ones cause wrx ones won't fit, if you are replaceing both front and rear lower arm bushes then you could just get all the bushes pressed at once so wouldn't be too expensive. have heard that the nolethane bushes will start to squeak after a while... hope that helps
  13. also try trade me for chains, i picked up my set for cheaper than hiring a set for a day, and they are the same chains that you hire! on a side note anyone used those rubber chains?
  14. chains on front, awd you will get drive to front and brakes and steering, i've only had to use chains on my foz once, i've been first 4wd with no chains to go up ruapehu once and was really surprised at how much grip i had with no chains and only 4 peices of rubber on snow and ice, also amazing how quick you can loose traction when getting a bit right foot happy (i tested the limits of traction on snow for future reference and to get rid of the bloody 4wd comodore thing that was trying to park in my boot on the way up) slow and steady wins the race (on snow anyway) and also give the car in front of you some room if it's a sketchy day, if shit turns to shit for either of you, you want room to avoid them, pushing them off the road won't make that much difference to the lift ques!
  15. do we want to know what the video is of????
  16. i'm keen, price depending.... otherwise i'll just download it.... j\k!
  17. i would say change tyres, i'm running 215 50\55 profile tyres on my 17s on my foz, makes them slightly taller than factory but were the closest to factory size i could find. check a tyre size calculator to see what the difference will be http://www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php?topic=634.0;topicseen heres one
  18. yup, low, loud (bov and exhaust), tints, sounds, stickers..... it's sad but true :'(
  19. i've pulled a whole .4 G's in the foz at taupo (according to pivot meter)

    where to next?

decent pads and fluid is all thats needed, i can still haul up the foz from 180+ and the only limiting factor is my tyres (and fear of hitting a wall) for road use i never ran out of brakes but i do engine brake alot on hills etc, brad caught his on fire in his foz but i think that may have been more a technique issue (no offence brad)
  21. carbon cannister, something to do with emmisions, i've removed mine and tee'd the lines into another line to run out of the engine bay cause i removed the factory line coming off, not important..... unless you wanna be green.... or don't like petrol fumes....
