FAREWELL TO THE ICONIC SUBARU LEGACY
We are preparing to say a fond farewell to the legendary Legacy, which will no longer be part of the Subaru line-up from 2021. This iconic model has been a key part of Subaru's history, especially here in New Zealand.
Let's give the Legacy the send off it deserves! What are your favourite memories of the much-loved Legacy? Share them with us below and read the full article here.

QuotePeter ‘Possum’ Bourne was another of those Kiwis who won over the Aussies in his adopted country, even while he towelled them on their own territory.
He was like us, with his love of life and his no nonsense enthusiasm for rallying, at which he excelled.
Loyal to Subaru in the 21 years of his career, which went right up to his death in a non-competitive drive on a public road leading to the Race to the Sky racetrack, Possum won the New Zealand rally championship, the FIA Asia Pacific championship three times and, spectacularly, the Australian Championship eight times, including seven consecutively.
It was too cruel that Possum would be involved in a fatal crash in 1993 in Rally Australia, which killed his great mate and codriver, Roger Freeth.
Freeth’s family talked Possum out of his initial decision to retire. Most of his championship successes came after this tragedy.
Ten years later, as he was resuming his international rally career in the Production car section of the world championship, whilst also competing in the Race to the Sky in New Zealand, which he’d won two years earlier, he had his fatal accident.

tip : you need the best res possible for print & sometimes images posted here are reduced
(thus the email request for 8mb + files) and often cool pics posted get forgotten about & people cant find them when time comes for selection etc

How much does a 5 speed replacement cost?
in General Vehicle Discussion
Posted
& next step would be a 6-Speed (+ associated costs & equipment starter & drive shaft etc)
I do understand 5 Speeds from a certain era on are worth looking for as the changed the construction slightly (more for race application / constant throttle abuse etc) obv's anything with less kays is always more ideal
