  1. I love chch. Live in same area as kinggts25 and quite often leave my car on the street coz I'm too lazy to bring it up the drive. And no troubles whatsoever. The only crime in this neighbourhood is people talking on cell phone while driving and others still wearing skirts over pants. Often thought about this. Would it be a good idea to do burgs in hoods as less chance of it being reported due to it already being stolen?
  2. don't think he swings that way. But you do have a nice rack.
  3. yeah! where else can we race? Can't make it tithe track coz I'm still sleeping after cruising all night!
  4. Want me to have a chat with Wayne? He may be able to hook you up.
  5. Ha! Well said. From day one, I have instilled on my son the fact that A: the police are there to help you B: they are there to keep you safe C: respect these officers, because they put themselves at risk so you don't have to. What the hell kind of parenting do these mullets do to produce someone of this ilk? I can't fathom what would make anyone decide that running from old bill is ever going to work out for them. Disrespectful little shit got what he deserved and his whinging parents should not be second guessing police actions, but hanging their head in shame while trying to work out how much they failed that child!!!
  6. Ok, small town hick here. What is FTP? I got no clue. And the first thing this country needs to do is get tougher on these people. Not just for chases but get these little pikes to start showing the law, our police, and society in general some bloody respect. Boot camp for all!!! Or bring back the old army cadets in the ciriculum circa 1950's. I like Aussies stance of instant license suspension if you break any law while on restricted and learners. Or we could go to the root of the problem and give the parents of these degenerates a good kicking.
  7. That's what he would've been running in his bike before he got the Spec C!
  8. in my experience, the easier one usually gives you the STI
  9. They were bad enough from factory. And this guy goes all alchemist on it and turns shit into even shitter!
  10. Agreed. I can't even tell what the hell it USED to be!
  11. Friends don't let friends drive sex spec!
  12. Well said. Does make a lot sense. See, I told you I was missing something blatantly obvious. Well cheers for the info everyone. That counts as my "What have you learned today"
  13. *goes to get measuring tape for mock up* Are you certain they will look?
  14. And, oh yeah. Never thought of that either.
  15. Knew of authority card for cage, didn't know same applied for harnesses (in hind sight it is now pretty bloody obvious). : Now that is sweet as, and I admit have not gone through the process myself but just thought that ANYTHING that increases the chance of survival in event of accident, would be not only made a simple process (LVVTA cert for example) but maybe even rewarded and incouraged (perhaps lesser ACC levies at rego time?)
  16. Just a thought that I can't figure out. Why are certain additional safety items, in particular race harnesses and roll cages, illegal (or in the case of roll cages very strict terms)? I cannot fathom why these items (and maybe others that aren't coming to mind) which increase the occupants safety would be frowned upon by authorities. Can someone help answer this?
  17. I was told a trick of a light smear of Vaseline over the writing. Paint on DAS VAS won't dry and once rest is dry, just hose off vas.
  18. word filter really makes you have to think. Ha!

    CHECUZ sti

The mystery is solved! Have you got a thread in the garage, CHECUZ? Sounds like your car has got a few admirers.
  20. 2JZ thank you for the great album, The Blueprint. My favourite song is Empire State of Mind. Please do more songs with Linkin Park coz Chester is hot. Yours sincerely, Young Fan. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  21. Agree with 2JZ. Dam bulletproof. I thought that all RB26s have the nasty habit of sending too much oil to the heads at high revs and need an oil gallery restrictor fitted.
  22. And remember that all RB26 engines are "prone" to spun bearings also and these are the "best" engines ever put into a road car apparently. I think it may just come down to a simple case of all these engines in comparison are extremely reliable if left stock and driven only in a sedate manner, eg round town. However, once put through their paces in motorsport or modified for increased power, unforeseen weaknesses become apparent which motorsport teams then fix on their vehicles but do not use same fixes on road going public examples.
  23. New holdens have optional 20" aswell.
