  1. How many R180 axles have you broken Viv?
  2. Agreed. Isofix should be mandatory on all cars and seats.
  3. Thanks for all the offers guys. I bit the bullet and hit up WR Twigg for a new one. For future reference, if anyone else in WGTN needs one, I can sort you out.
  4. Problem is that I have a very soft thin sleeve of thread tightly wedged in an existing 1/8 BSP female thread of aluminium. I've tried backing it out with a tapered reverse thread bit, but there isn't enough thickness to grab and will just make a mess. Plan was to run a tap back through it to grind out the offender and preserve the host thread.
  5. Thanks Caleb, but I don't think there is a close enough metric?
  6. Anyone in Wellington got a tap I can borrow? Need to redo a thread for an IAT.
  7. I went here. Only spot I could find that had room for the sensor to stick out without fouling on something on the manifold.
  8. Drive along in third up a steep hill, and then floor it. If the revs rise but the speed doesn't, it's slipping. You'll also get a nice acrid clutch smell like burnt metal if you do it enough.
  9. Lovely car. Great colour choice. Get a baffled sump and take it to a track day =]
  10. Ok, just wondered if you might've lowered OD and not considered it =]
  11. I'll answer your dumb question with one of my own. Are the new tyres factory size?
  12. And that bottom piece with the HVAC controls is the black one that's paired with Macintosh stereos!
  13. Hah. It just seems ridiculous that you can't buy just the top piece alone.
  14. That is sobanoodle isn't it? Thing is, if you have the black Macintosh facia, you only really want the top part, and you want it in black =\
  15. I've got a Manfeild drive by, and all manner of skidding and screeching: https://m.youtube.com/user/SJDRacingNZ
  16. I'm getting a bung welded into my intercooler beside the throttle body neck.
  17. As I understand it, phase 1 yellows cannot be decapped (hence the conversion). But, it seems like I'm not going to bother with injectors at this point.
  18. Yeah, had considered it, but changing to phase 2 yellows is a $150 adapter kit and $80 worth of injectors to get more like 700cc. I might put it off for now anyway.
  19. Fair enough. The bottom end is forged rods and pistons, but has taken a good beating. Probably won't go any further than a 34/36 once the 24 gives up.
  20. I don't really have a number. I just want light switch boost and oodles of torque. By all accounts injectors will be the first wall I hit.
