Can anyone recommend a company in Wellington who can powdercoat my wheels ? What figures would you usually look at ? And, who do you use to skim your discs ? What do they cost price wise ? Thanks !

I just climbed under the bumper of the BMW, unscrewed the horn, and then just changed the two wires over in my car. And it worked ! It looked like this, but I only used one of them :

I went to pick a part and got a horn off a BMW. My car sounded like a girl squealing before that.

I should have a look at the box I got last week for the other disc that cracked, see what make it is.

Needs to be manufactured to oe spec or better. Repco and bnt are competitors so they have different brands but some the same if you know what I mean. Maybe.

Just a question, are Repco and BNT discs the same ? Or same enough it doesn't matter which place yuo go to ?

Did you get the plate of the WRX to check if that was also dodgy . . ?

For what it's worth, I was running out of fuel coming back from Taupo megameet. I had no choice but to stop at, hmm, Turangi maybe, and put 95 into it. Drove quite normally on all the way to I think Paraparaumu where I topped up with 98. Made zero difference to the car long term.

They go to Arlington, that's where I've taken my car before. Dammit, if it wasn't my Dad I'd be so angry. But of course, he said "Someone must have put a box on it. And moved it around" Even though I saw him standing there with the cloth.

So, I decided to clean my car on the weekend. While I was out the rear end cleaning out the tail pipes, my Dad decided he'd try and remove a little mark on the bonnet. Well he must have used sandpaper or something, actually it was a cloth with a stone in it, and he has caused this : He then tried cutting compound to fix it, but i think it made it worse. Then I tried Turtle Swirl and something, but nothing worked. I don't mind taking it to a professional to fix, but is it something I can do myself ? If so, how ?

It happens alright. Happened to me. I got given two tickets, at 35 demerit points each, plus the maximum fine. I didn't actually do what they said, but one eye witness, who was just pissed off I passed him, decided to call the cops. Of course, I didn't do any of the things he said he did. And I couldn't get those demerit points as I would lose my license. So, I did get the lawyers involved. In addition to that, the case was in Taupo, and I'm in Welly, so my lawyer in Welly had to retain a lawyer in Taupo to represent me. And so it went, the best thing ended up just pleading on one of the charges, as it was going to be a 50/50 call on the day. And so it went. So, yeah, it does happen. I don't blame the police, they were just basing it on what they were told, but that little botherer in the silver holden station wagon, I won't forget you and your plaid shirt in a hurry.

Ahh, I found a couple of files that were from Megameet last year ! This is one one of the reccy runs at the start I think. One is the excel file, the other is the google earth thing.
