  1. Welly won't be the same without you 2 hooligans and your fast cars. Thanks for all the help, the random Sunday sessions at Heaven/Midnight/Kaffee Eis and the banter you guys really know the true meaning of hospitality & the Chch crew are lucky to be getting you. you'll be back.... there's no Kaffee Eis in chch All The Best, Will be down for a visit later in the year
  2. Nice, good result, i hope they will be covering the costs of shipping the correct item & costs of you sending back the wrong one "if" they want it back lol

  5. yeah good as bro, got a bit sweaty but it was hot as faaaaark & im a jew when it comes to A/C rather save my gas for the right jandal 95% of the time lol. but yeah they were sweet, was my leg that was getting sore from having a chunky monkey behind me and having to have the seat a few clicks too far forward for the entire 600k, The suspension took the biggest beating haha i glad wrapped my other seats and put them under the house for safe keeping
  6. I clocked up 600 odd k in it between Thursday & Sunday, and it went ok, no problem when driving, just first & reverse can be sticky/crunchy at times, hard for me to tell when its actually engaging properly. all gears will go in fine with car off, as soon as its on the problems show their face pumping clutch makes no difference whatsoever I think i will pick up a new slave cylinder for it as a couple of times since i have owned it the pedal has got stuck halfway on return, and from what i have read on the web it seems to generally be the issue Have sourced a clutch & matching flywheel, just trying to organise cash for it now and fingers crossed all will be good again lol mechanic at the workshop across the road from my house reckoned it was clutch plate, hes a bit of a muppet, but he owns a subbie himself now, so hopefully he has learned a bit more about them since he put the brake assembly back together wrong in my old mans wagon & i ended up with no brakes heading toward the basin, could have been worse, i could have been going downhill when they failed lol
  7. what kind of BOV? when i got my GFB one it had 30mm adaptors so i had to get the 20mm ones it will be 20mm adaptors you need, and a few other small bits depending on how you set it up & what it came with in the box
  8. Drove it 600k welly>palmy>napier & back over last 4 days, even with dodgy clutch it went really well even with 2 fatties in the back ( my poor rear shocks ) saw some mint vintage cars in Napier with the art deco festival, got some snaps, even saw an old traction engine & steam roller, was quite cool, I have a wooden model traction engine that is older than I am, has same paint job etc as the one i saw up there ;D Also its a pity about the state of the saddle road, used to be a nice drive, now its just horrid, been eaten to bits by trucks car is filthy on the outside but i CBF doing anything about that today
  9. I Hope they throw the book at this bitch, chances are though all she will get is a slap on the wrist & some home D at most its pretty filthy really and if you cant trust the police, who can you trust, she is one bad egg so shouldn't reflect on all cops but hard to not loose some trust with cases like this, but i'm not going to slate all cops because of one C U Next Tuesday
  10. washed my cup holder, lol, damn does it make a difference, from having to jam the bugger in and drag it out, to push the button & pop, out it comes, willing & of its own accord ;D
  11. yer, pretty lucky here in welly, some pretty onto it folks who's labour is alot cheaper than workshop prices and i don't mind being a donkey as long as someone tells me what to do lol
  12. Jeebus, fingers crossed it wont be quite that much. wont be getting it done at a workshop, will either get Rick or San or someone to do it when time allows
  13. yer, once/if i start putting more power through the engine then ill probably look at going something more heavy duty and Welly traffic is start stop, start stop ,so something a bit easier on the left jandal is good for now haha, mainly just want the car running properly again and warrant runs out next week so need to get sorted sooner rather than later. So I reckon new clutch + skim flywheel or pick one up that i can get done beforehand to reduce downtime of car + Flush Fluid should hopefully get the gremlins out
  14. its not sorted quite yet lol! San says he has an almost new clutch, so ill probably pick that up if he doesn't need it, not sure what it is, probably OEM I imagine I don't launch or do any track work so just a standard clutch will do me for now at least, and being my daily I don't want anything that I'll need a cement brick attached to my foot to push in lol
  15. San was busy so took it to the garage near my house, he didn't bother bleeding it reckons the Hydraulics are fine, so must be plate so will take it up to palmy and get clutch replaced & Flywheel skimmed when i get back to welly
  16. San, you are a Legend!!!! I don't mind getting my hands dirty, so if you can show/help me would be awesome, I don't have all that many tools, but can come to you, what time are you free? still got my number? if not ill PM you it, ill be free all day
  17. yer is a pain in the arse, i don't really like having to force it into gear, is ok in all other gears while running, i'm pretty much resigned to ringing around workshops tomorrow see if anyone can do it short notice, fingers crossed rather leave it to someone who knows what they are doing, i can eff it up for free, but will cost more in the long run lol hopefully this will fix it for the meantime, then i can get the whole clutch setup looked at in a couple of weeks and find out what i need to replace
  18. Need Some Local Help if anyone is available, need to bleed my clutch, but from what i gather i need a second set of hands & someone who knows how to get top mount off bleed clutch and put top mount back on as i have never done it can pay you in cash or beer tomorrow when i get paid am free all night tonight, have work from 8pm tomorrow, and supposed to pick my brother up from the airport & head out of town @ 2:30 thursday arvo ( can possibly push this back a couple of hours if need be i have extra brake fluid, i don't have the little bottle to catch the bled fluid If I can't find help here, will be ringing around garages in welly tomorrow to see if i can find someone to do it short notice. there is a garage right near my house but the guy is a muppet & cut the brake lines on my old mans subbie the last time he touched it, so would prefer not to take it to him if i can avoid it, car is still mobile so i can come to whoever can help To Anyone that can help i will be forever in your debt! Cheers
  19. ^Herp Derp Rick also Reckons sounds like clutch, recommends bleeding it first before doing anything, just trying to find info on where the bleeding nipple is to give that a crack first EDIT: i take it it is under the TMIC? anyone local keen to give me a hand for a box of beer? ive never taken it off so probably wont get it back on, i have some extra brake fluid just no skills in doing it or enough tools i imagine
  20. yeah, i just called the garage my old man takes his car to, he reckons clutch, so have posted a Wanted listing in the sales section
