  1. insure it like a bawsssss lol put a kill switch in there as well as an alarm. Get a deterent device as well.
  2. Ft 86 with a heavy front. It's like Tokyo drift final battle. Lol. Too much torque
  3. Oh no you didn't ! U just brought up the brz didn't you. It's gonna change the way we see n/a tuning. Lighter, keeping it in high revs, chassis set up for drift out of the box. There's gonna be a n/a vs turbo battle out of toyo n sub versions. Subi makers said too much power could affect the way the car responds due to suspension layout to method of power delivery. It almosts needs to be reengineered to successfully maintain a slide without spinning out they say. But who knows, they may just be covering up for a secret weapon to battle toyotas secret build conversion.
  4. Moroso's looks like a baws. There's another smaller version of the air/ oil separator, kinda looks like a sandwich plate. Guess sourcing a nice catch can for the job is the next thing
  5. Mmm me thinks subis are better suited for a good round of auto x or gymkhana. When's the next public rally lols
  6. Lol good relatively cheap starter cars for drifting are ... IMO trialled and tested - Mx5 may look girly but you can keep your foot on the pedal. Plus it's light. S14 easy chassis, tonnes of parts available, sr-rb-jz- are known engine configs that have fitted Suprisingly- Altezza , strip some weight and suspension it up and either the 4 ringer or 6cyl can be fun. Mind you the straight 6 is epic fail for power. You would wanna swap it for a jz or sr if you can afford I quite like the purple legacy in drift union though. That kicks arse
  7. Cheers Stoffa. you deserve a drink for that explanation. (thumbs up)
  8. I'm just confused now cause all the previous engines Iv put catch cans on was straight forward. Now to a Subi block- its like with all the info on the net and speculation about what to do or not do its like umm...?? K if I tap the rocker breathers, run to closed catch can to air intake that won't get any oil as rocker breathers want fresh air in. Right? The rear of the block has two bungs- one is crank case breather baffled and front side not baffled. One you can block off and weld shut of whatever and one you still need to run in system to the pcv? Is it at this point you want to add the catch can?
  9. That sounds conplicated. 710? What if you end up running a sealed catchcan with a bottom inlet so it can drain back down. I'm guessing it's normal for oil to leak out of the heads due to the good 'Gs'
  10. Buy my skunk 2 racing exhaust bahAha. It's real suby loud lol
  11. Which one goes to the pcv or is that redundant and blocked off? Or is there another port I'm missing completely
  12. by any chance, does this solve the oil leak from the heads when you corner hard?
  13. maybe its for the posers that want legal camber It may work for track specific instances
  14. fitted larger sway bar, tightened up exhaust flanges, gave it a test drive, fibreglassing the centre dash bit where the stereo goes as it was broken. Measure and sand it tomorrow and then put some carbon fibre vinyl over the top.
  15. Kinda like those ^ I think Nitto and Goodyear made one but havent seen that in a while. Michelin do them and Falken. Mostly stuff that comes from Jap. (I must be thinking about the dual compound thing for motorcycles re: camber wear.)
  16. There are the few that think to achieve horribly low they gotta remove springs and/or shocks.
  17. I dunno- ask the tyre makers. I have a feeling it has to do with harder compound on inner edge. It's also slightly confusing as then the tyre would look kinda off centre. But it is a product that is out there- I only asked the question
  18. Ooh I forgot to ask. What about those tyres that let you have camber but give you just as much road contact as regular non cambered wheels
  19. It was already an issue but I guess people managed to get away with it for this long. Then they finally updated the regs and bam it is now the word.
  20. put stock springs in if they fit.. least the ride height will change a bit the shocks should hold it together.
  21. then it doesnt become legal? i dont know many places that will actually do that. Theres a place in penrose/mt wellington that do reconditioning and stuff, but i cant remember their name
