  1. i really dont like the badges that are just stuck on the back of imprezza and 'yeah bro its an sti' (noting they still have their '20k' badge on the opposite side)
  2. It can be V1 or V2 depending when in 1994 it was made
  3. mm.. my old s14 had a 5puck, there wasnt a nice easy way to let it out.. Especially reversin, at lights, at corners, in car parks.. LOL
  4. All the blocks are pretty much the same. V3 Sti engine will fit no problem. Its practically the same as your V4. V5-V6 is phase 2 youd need to either supply loom or just repin to the same phase ecu
  5. lol cant wait to install it or cant wait to be able to dump it..
  6. umm.. are you wanting to stay within the subaru make or you thinking of like an sr20det in a wrx. anything ej20??
  7. your car isnt the automatic version is it? iirc they dont have much tolerances for clearance compared to manuals when lowering
  8. Blew a breather bung on my v7 block and oil leaked all under the v6 manifold
  9. the 3 wire ones, arent they air/fuel o2 sensors? thats in the 92-2000 wrxs.. Which one is the signal wire?
  10. Il check with the postal/ courier office tomorrow to be on the safe side. I don't like negativity towards anyone. Just constructive criticism. I appreciate the support from the forum but I hope this doesn't cause any negative tension between anyone.
  11. Hmm I'm not really one to 'bag' a person, I would just like things to be simple and straight forward. He sells goods, someone accepts and pays, he says got the money and sending your goods- will take such and such days, then he sends it. A few 3-5 days later you receive the goods as described and end trade.
  12. Il have to bring this thread back to life- A bit of common courtesy in informing your buyers on when you've received payment or sent the item and tracking would be nice. It may be you have a busy schedule but when people pay for something you've listed, it immediately becomes a responsibility for you to send it in a timely manner. I transferred payment March 29th, and haven't had a response from pms and emails iv sent. Still waiting on the injectors, if you could please let me know of the status of these as this is the final thing I need to get my car running.
  13. Exhaust piping looks really piddly small Oh and the exhaust hangars aren't in the right place for sf5
  14. Iv owned a genuine genome on my v7. It was the best exhaust iv never had to fit myself. Was quiet rumble at idle and when cruising and at full bore it was as if I opened up the gates of h*** and unleashed the beast as I ravaged the road with flames and smoke trails. Iv yet to find a nicer one. My best in order from cars and makes- V7 genome S14 super dragger Civic custom full titanium With n1 cannon
  15. wire brushed, rust killed, primed and painted rear sway bar, ready to fit on z car.
  16. Cheers, will head over there when I get a chance. Was looking through repco and supercheap and their prices were phenomenal!!
  17. Hi, This would be a perfect post if we could get info on the best places/ with best prices to get certain items from. Without shooting me, can anyone tell me the best place to get Cheap but good hose clamps, silicon joiners, vacuum lines, T pieces, to get us started? Also note area/ town. Cheers in advance
  18. Pappu is able to get a hold of v8 struts with sti springs within your budget if you're interested.
  19. Fozze, you thinking of increasing from the standard 19mm front? What size you thinking? 23mm? That may cause an under steer situation again wouldn't it unless you increase the rear to match? Cheers
  20. Well it comes down to what you want in the end. We can all offer advice and support. With the responses you've got, you have a lot of ideas to go with. O here's another one - replacement Bigger turbos? All the best
  21. lol if you're just concerned about the lateness of your secondary kicking in, get it modded and tuned to run the way you want it via one of the professional workshops. No point just commiting to something completely different without at least attempting to do a lil bit with what you have yourself I vote, mod + tune or parallel instead of sequential LOLS.. o btw, i wouldnt be comparing oranges to apples when it comes to sr20dets and ej20s or else you'll be starting up the whole weight to power debate and engine strengths and weaknesses.
  22. no thanks to the chromies. put some phaaat dished wedsports or something on them instead. o and dont forget the big whales tail wings
  23. Those Genome shocks have been on trade me for a really long time. Get them checked before you buy them. You cant quite compare aftermarket to oem replacements when they arent specific to your model but a) people have said they are an improvement over stock ride b) they do lower your car, with addition of camber bolts etc (depending on model and year of vehicle etc)
  24. Money well spent is on a flash. Mind you it ranges anywhere from 800-1200 depending on who you go to and the extent of the tune. Get in touch with STM with any questions you have
  25. *Cough* you wont notice it unless you're doing something illegal *Cough*
