shouldn't really say this but ... working at wingers and watching what they do to put it on... 600$ is a rip. they just rip apart the old one (if u had one) and use a drill tool to get rid of all the goo and stick the new one on with the sticky tape supplied and the clips. easy as
  5. so i fitted a boost gauge on to my legacy and found that the primary is doing 0.6 bar and secondary at 0.8 bar. Feels abit low...
  6. Hiya guys, was just sitting around and started to think about my car and thought about my intake. At the moment it has the stock air intake piping with just a mushroom at the end.. but as I test drive the cars that come into work I can't help to feel that they perform better with the stock intake providing it has a clean filter. All i'd like to know is, from experience do you guys find an exposed pod performs worse than a stock air filter?
  7. A lot of mechanics start assuming and guessing which does not help at all. Try bring it into Winger subaru or if u know a subaru specialist..

  21. Hey guys, I decided to install a boost gauge into my bd5. It's mechanical and I know that the clear tube is fitted with the T joint at vacuum lines I want to connect the lighting up with the ignition so that the light is always on. Which wire under the dash is the ignition?
  22. thannks man , got the foggies working again
  23. Hey guys, I hav a bd5 rs leggy and the car is all good with everything but the fogs. Bought the car from someone I know and told me the fogs were going last time he checked. So when I turn the fog switch on, the dash backlight lights up, park lights turns on but no fogs. Could it be the fog light fuse has blown?. I would check my self but the fuse box cover under the dash is gone so I have no idea which one would be the fog fuse. Any help would be appreciated thanks
