one of my monsoon gaurds around the top of my doors has started to come unstuck down by the wingmirror. any idea what to use to stick them down with.The opposite one has previously broken off and it makes a heck of a noise at anything over 80km/h. I have some reasonably strong double sided tape, real thick stuff. will it hold or do I need some type of glue?

any replies appreciated.

cant remember what it is called right now, but it is black tarry shit, i have used it to hold on my spotlight covers and eyelids... lots of people ill know exactly what im talking about...dam its on the tip of my tongue now!

repco sell a very strong and sticky auto trim tape for exterior use i used it to mount my gps in my ex's car as i left the mounting bracket in my car.

carbond would be the stuff your thinking of. magic stuff, can be pricey though, any good panelbeaters have it.

are you thinking of urethane? as in the stuff they glue windscreens in with?

I had the same problem with the LHS Monsoon on my V7, took it through a car wash one day... problem solved?!?! ???

Now I've got to bloody replace the thing!!!
