Hey mate, small mods to try -

Zerosport Intake Pipe (leave cold airbox, dont go pod filter)

GFB Boost Controller (even if you leave it at 11psi, it wil be more responsive with the GFB)

Siamese Downpipe

The biggest handling mod for the money is a rear sway bar out of an sti. I got one for $60 on tardme and virtually eliminated body roll. It made much more of a difference than lowering it. Although I only went with v7 wrx shocks. Didn't want a kurb scrubber.

Then some good pads and rotors.

Gotta be able to stop and go round corners before you make it quicker ;)

Oh yeah..Hi and welcome

Hey Cpt,

Your definitely not the first person to tell me that after owning the foz for just over a week. I'll be on the hunt for a sway bar very shortly, so if anyone spots a cheap one out their that will fit let me know.

Also keen to lower it a fraction more, what springs do people recommend for foresters, and what are the different price ranges i should be ready for.

To be honest, i wasn't sure about it at first, but it's really growing on me now

Dean,

Lowering springs are all good but they DO make your car ride very stiffly. Do what most of us other Fozzy owners are doing and what in some Version 7 Sti struts in. Handles much better and is comfier too from what Ive heard

I disagree with the lowering springs commnet...

Those sti shocks n springs are pretty stiff for a factory set up..

I run lowering springs then i replaced with v7 sti shocks and springs..

Handling wise the sti gear is better....

I did the following mods to mine when i had it.

Front mount intercooler

2.5 Siamise downpipe.

3 inch midsection

Rear muffler

Blow off valve

Would up the boost to 12psi (8-10psi factory)

Pod filter (due to front mount) Recommend just run upgraded panel filter with a induction set up..

Went well and much better than standard as i put back to standard when i sold and was soooo slow lol...

I'm a bit unsure about playing with the boost. Even though 12psi is only a small increase. Will this lead to problems in the future??.

How much have people paid for sti struts. Just had a look on trade me.

Would i be better to call around a few wreckers

round the $200 mark is what i paid and mark\nstag8 was bout the same IIRC, you want v7\gda\gdb sti struts and springs, older ones need the top hats swapped over.

Sweet thanks for the help. Pretty reasonable price.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
