rear crank seal swap

Hi there yes i did use search first.

Im gonna be changeing it in a couple of weeks just wondering if anybody have any tips to make it easier to do.

i have access to an engine hoist to lift the engine out but just things like if i need t take the fly wheel ect off any input would be muchly appreciated

Be easier to drop the box out wouldn't it?? Or is it auto?

Hmmm, lift the engine out then. And yes, you'll need to get the flexplate off.

Nah, just FT should be enough. The spec is ~80Nm, which is less than wheel nuts.

And reseal the kidney plate and gudgeon pin cover while you're there too. They leak more often than the rear main seal.

cheers for the info i have just been told by an other mate that it could just be the kidney plate but im just gunna do the main seal any ways sincei the car has done 270000ks
