Dash Dimmer Switch

Ok to some of you this is probably a noobie question... but

I've looked on google and in the search on here and failed to find anything (maybe im using the wrong search terms)

Im wanting to know if a subaru wrx 2000 ver6 has a dimmer switch for the dash lights ? i cant find one anywhere..

The lights in the dash are barely visable even with the stock bulbs / aftermarket bulbs

and was wondering if it had a dimmer switch to try and maybe brighten them ?

as far as im aware there isnt one. Do you have a boost gauge or any other accessories that are switched along with the lights??? Its possible someone has wired these in in series with the cluster which would give this issue, or someone has just wired the accessories straight off the cluster wiring which isnt able to handle large loads so you will be experiencing some voltage drop

The dull lightning occured before anything was added to the car... It did have a stock boost gauge which has now been removed..

There has been 3 gauges added but they dont run off the light switch.. they come on when the car is turned on.. Could that be the problem ?

Can you chuck a multimeter across it and see what voltage your getting?

my ver6 doesnt have a dimmer, the green back lights arnt the brightest tho
