I'll be trying to spot them all, hopefully non sti's have the same one which should make them easier to find.

V7/8 have a purple sticker which reads to about 21psi, aparently the later ones read to about 30psi.

Just wondering what colour they are so I can keep an eye out, a pic would be awesome if its not too much trouble

err which one is the map sensor?

also i think the v7ones def read more than 21 psi as some of the v7 cariants hit 21 psi+ from factory

on cold nites i have seen it hit over 20 peak on std setup so got to have some overhead i wud assume considering the v7 is supposed to be 18 factory boost so leaving only 3psi headroom is bit silly

Just cos the car boosts higher than the map sensors limit doesn't mean it reads correctly.

It must be a 2.5 Bar Sensor, so one bar of atmospheric pressure and 1.5 of boost

1.5 bar = 21.755 660 701 pound/square inch

Arrording to Kent at Speedsource thats were they stop being acurate.

If your running 25psi the ecu cant adjust the fuel/timing acuratly if the Map wont read that high
