is a boost T realy worth it?

my wrx was only runnin around 10psi so i decided to go cheaply an get a turbosmart boost T, it did its job increasing the boost level however its quite a bit laggyer an i cant realy run more that 16psi otherwise it boost cuts alot. not realy that happy with my purchase

Get a tap set up properly and they seem to work well. I had mine set up to hold 14psi in my old GT. It would spike and piss around if i had the hose length to the wastegate too short. A bit of trial and error found a length which gave me good spool and made everything work nicely.

go for an aftermarket ebc (electronic boost controller) i got mine(hks evc4) for $250 off a club member and it was the best mod i ever made its easy to tune and adjust boost when the car is turned of that is.

I had upgraded turbos to a vf22 and was only running 9psi off the factory wastegate the 15-17psi i have now is much better.

ohk cheers. yeah i changed my turbo to a vf23 an it went from around 14psi to 10 but went better with the vf23 on 10psi than it did with the tdo4 on 14psi but im thinkin of getting the ecu re-flashed an jus get the boost set to one amount

I had a GFB boost controller(beehive looking ones), made my turbo alot more quicker to spool up!

yeah when my vf22 was on 9psi it went harder than my tdo4 at 15psi but now that the vf22 at 15psi its different like a new car.

a ebc will be cheaper than i reflash and then you can adjust your boost.
