'95 Legacy Wagon, boot leaking & lock problem

Hey all, I just got a 1995 Legacy wagon and have found a couple of problems.

Firstly, in the boot, when it rains I'm getting water leaking down both compartment doors and into the carpet.

It seems to be coming in on both sides, at the top of where the little storage compartments are for putting the jack etc.

On the left side, it also comes through a crack in the plastic at the back of the storage well.

This model doesn't have the sunroof, so it's not that.

Just wondering if anyone has had to fix a similar problem, and where the water may be coming in? What is a good place to check?

From where I can see the water has run- it must be coming in at or above window level - and I've checked the seals around the back door and windows - they seem fine.

I may end up pulling out the panels and having a better look.

Also, the back passenger door behind the driver isn't locking correctly. The lock itself doesn't work with central locking - and the lock itself isn't moving correctly, its kinda just stuck half way.

Is it easy enough to take this off and see if it's connected correctly?

Yea i had same issue, silicon fixed that baby up!
