O2 sensor

My v4 wrx oxygen sensor needs to be replaced, as the heater coil has died. i looked on this web site http://www.rockauto.com and says that a DELPHI Part # ES10762 is the right one for me, can anyone confirm this? As $60 us shipped seems really cheap, just worried that i might end up with something that i can not use!

sorry i cant be bother looking it up, but is it a 3 wire 02? i have sourced a few aftermarket ones for members here before that are very well priced. no need to get from overseas.

haha yea i gathered that...u make more power without a o2 sensor and runs noticably smoother....the o2 sensor goes hold on there ecu u made this mix too rich ima lean it off....ohh hold on ecu u made the mix too lean ioma richen it up....ohh hold on ecu u made it too rich...u see where im coming from??? most people will use a wideband to tune then just use it as read only...plus o2s just crap out weneva they want too....but each to their own if u want a o2 by all means use one

The O2 sensor is only used when the car is cruising to save fuel - so it has no effect on maximum power

I quite like being able to afford to run my car when the u2 sensor works, wastes a lot of gas when it's fucked, and makes the car backfire.... More than usual

i want it to stop giving me cels every time i drive it! also my car idles fine when cold (ie when the o2 is not used) and idles like aboslute shit when warn, so its one thing to try

unplug it an reset ecu and cel and backfiring will stop...i dont have a o2 fullstop
