Looking for standard shocks and springs for 1995 WRX need advice

What cars can I get these from that will fit straight on that will be right for this car? Can I get springs from a legacy or will that not work?

Any ideas?

all gc8 shocks and springs will fit so that 1992 to 1999 wrx and wrx sti and even wrx sti type RA and type R, the sti ones will perform better and be a bit lower than the wrx ones. The type RA and type R suspentions are really good for a stock suspension but are often quit a bit harder to find... sti and wrx stocks and springs are easily found on trademe

I keep looking but I can't find anything on there. I'm looking under Car Parts, Subaru and Suspension and I'm not coming up with anything. Am I missing something or not looking in the right place??

dont buy second hand shocks, most shocks are stuffed by 80,000kms. you can buy a full set of std ones for less than $500 trade, im sure someone can donate a set of old springs for free.

the problem with legacy springs is there so many different height springs, you should probably try to find any set of GC8 springs or you'll have the car sitting at funny heights front/rear

lol my shocks are 170000 kms old and they still work absolutely mint they had a regas sometime tho

What about getting my shocks re-cond and raised with standard springs?

should work perfectly fine! and then at least you will be sure they will last! instead of buying another 2nd hand option which might fail anytime as well... stock springs should be easy enough to find, theres like a milion on trademe lol just make sure you get gc8 ones for the right hight

Thought about buying Bilsteins from a GT-B / RS-B (depending on sedan / wagon, your car) and fitting with lowering springs? All you'd need to do is swap over the tophats, I believe?

lol hes trying to get rid of his lowerd springs?? but yeah could do, depends on if you rather have more comfort or better performance...

yeah all wrx, sti etc ones are but sti and bilsteins one are made to perform better then wrx ones and have a bit less comfort I personally like my stock RA ones better then wrx ones but got to admit the ones in my wrx where more comfortable...
