2003 wrx blitz front mount intercooler kit which one

I have a 2003 wrx GGA wagon that a customer has asked em to supply a front mount intercooler for ? so the chassis code says GGA seatbelt says its a 2003 its not a bugeye its a Blob eye after the bug eye.

Now blitz makes two intercoolers for this range of subarus or am i wrong .

I am currently looking at getting this intercooler

But the supplier has told me it wont work on the car ?

The piping should be the same and the fitting will also be roughly the same?

Do i need to chop some bumper away to fit this intercooler ?

they have recommended i go for the more expensive intercooler not sure why as they say it will fit the car as a off the shelf product ?

So which should i go for or am i panicking and both intercoolers will fit no problem ?

if i had to buy the cheaper one would i have to modify it alot to make it fit ?
