Version 8 WRX EJ20 into BG Legacy wiring

Version 8 non STI EJ20 into a BG twin turbo legacy sedan.

I had a quick look and search of the forum but didn't find much.

I have done a lot of Nissan engine conversion wire ups and have all the diagrams and pin outs so it makes it easy.

I thought I'd sign up here and ask you guys as it's probably something that's been done a lot and there must be some good info here somewhere on the conversion.

So I need some tips, what problems I might have, any wiring diagrams and pins you might have.

Also any other problems that we might run into during the conversion, I'm assuming the engine will all just bolt in etc..

im almost doing the same thing atm with putting a v7sti engine into v4sti. wiring is your only issue, really depends on budget with this as v7 up engines run avcs so either need to use a aftermarket ecu that can run AVCS or reloom the car with V8 loom which could be quite hard to come buy.

i would just get an aftermarket computer because u will want the avcs and all

a link g4 will be the way to go.more tunning options once the motor is in and gets started.re wireing all of tht would be a headac.compared to just getting a link a staving yourself the hassel.

I was just thinking about running the V8 engine loom and putting powers, earths, outputs to dash, fuel pump etc to the BG legacy car loom.

Is it not as simple as this? I've done this sort of thing many times on Silvia's and Skylines so thought it would be a pretty much the task but that's why I'm asking you guys as I have not had much experience with Subaru

I think it would.

Power to the computer, coils, injectors, other actuators like AVCS etc, output for fuel pump relay, Start signal, water temp and rpm from computer loom to dash loom.

Just want a engine loom wiring diagram and ecu pin outs and I should be able to figure it out from there. If anyone knows where to find or has the diagrams and pin outs let me know..

If there's any reason you think this method won't work let me know.
