V7 V8 V9 are they equal

so heres the Q if i had a set of teins for a V9 buti got a V8 will they bolt straight in or will the V8 need to be modified or do i need to go back to the drawing board as they wont fit at all cheers. I thought the only diffrence between the the V8 & V9 was minor cosmetics . cheers your haste is appreciated.

OOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo my brain just had a thought.

The ver9 adopted the wider body of the Ver8 Spec C, maybe that is why the guy thought they may not fit.

V9+ STI uses the larger front hub knuckles & wheel bearings (and 5x114 PCD) so where the bottom of the strut bolts to the hub it is a lot bigger so will not suit the V8 which has the older style hubs. You can buy new bottom mounts for the Teins which thread onto the shaft so they will fit a V8 though ($$$). The rears will fit fine.

oh well thanks alot for that , i will keep looking round for some adjusties . what about the B.C adjusties ? any one know what they are like

they are mean for going low... and thats about it.... they wear out... hard to rebuild and when you do finally get autolign to rebuild them the price is near a new set... well cost anyway which is like $1199
