earthing points on wrx

where is the earthing wire on the firewall that bolts onto the bracket of the gearbox wishbone??

i dont seem to have one on there...cant find the wire anyway either..

anyone know what this earth is for?

theres one that goes to the gear box. Has it had a clutch? someone probably missed undoing it and when the gearbox was half hanging off and cut it.

you could be onto something with the earths, check the ones on your inlet manifold from what I understand one of those is one of the ecu earths

Yeah esp if you've powdercoated the manifold, you'll want to relocate that earth to the engine block and use a star locking washer.

No it wont from just that earth.

OH yes they can, if the gearbox isnt earthed properly then the neutral switch wont work properly

This will cause havoc with drivability

They can, but not if all the other earths are fine. It will just earth through the engine. But you know that
