So Steve with this particular turbo that you modified, it was VF36 internals into a VF30 housing, any gains over the stock VF30??

Yeah some kid who lost his licence 1 month after buying it so it's now back in Auckland with me. If you know anything more about the car I'd love to find out bro

Haha all good man, Hope you got it for a good price as he let it go for pretty cheep but mind you that was a couple months back when cars were a tad more expensive lol. Markets up and down like a yoyo but on a steady decline all in all :(. (well for thoes of us who own not buying lol)

Um not a hell of alot to say as its pretty stock but was a good car, we did a few hamptons open days together and it ran faultless, Always got left behind taking it easy which is good for your sake he wasnt very hard on the car ;D. Theres a few youtube clips of it around if you havent seen already

from what i got from you Q and to retort. the VF30 has the same housing as the VF24 with a larger compressor wheel, that is the same as VF22 compressor? i think it is "correct me if i'm wrong guys" i know the answer just cant think of it. any-who you suffer at the top end with this. the 36 has the same compressor housing as VF30 and , titanium turbine, P25 on the housing side of the exhaust and bit more at your top end because as we know you have an exhaust pulse that is marginally better then the 30. top of my head that's the differences

i have had a twin scroll turbo on a single scroll manifold that was twisted. horrible. gives a terrible boost threshold. 1,000rpm higher vs the same turbo single scroll on the same setup. the twin scroll requires segregated exhaust pulses from the paired cylinder banks, 1-3 and 2-4 i believe. nothing to do with length

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
