2001 rev D single turbo conversion

Hi, just calling in from the Uk. No one seems to have completed a TT conversion over here yet.

I've had a skim though a few of the TT to single threads, but I'm a bit unsure as to exactly what I need for my conversion. I need to keep the cost to a minimum for now.

Am I right in thinking I can keep my Denso ECU and intake manifold as its a later revision D?

I wish someone had a step by step guide for the rev D!

I'm going to be aiming for big numbers, just reliability and a good spool.

In short no u cant keep ur ecu

yud need a wire in ECU i.e. a full rewire of your EFI system.. as opposed to a 'plug-in' ecu

havnt heard of the Single T it being done on a rev D, but guess it cud be.

money permitting you could try to buy a written off v7 STI and swap the engine and wiring over.. big job if u hv never done it before

Example of AUDM B4 conversion:

Using the TT ECU and a greddy profec B spec II boost controller - it made 203kw on 18psi.

The single turbo conversion was done on the original B4 motor using the following parts:

-standard headers with catless up pipe

-VF29

-silicone intake & 'short fat' bit

-hyperflow CAI

-samco silicone y-pipe

-STi TMIC

-3" turbo back exhaust

I don't suppose you have details on how it was carried out? Mainly the wiring side.
