WRX RA 5th Injector Intake Manifold

Can someone please tell me when does the 5th injector fire, is it with all the injectors or 2 of or when ? Link have told me my possumn link can not run it, but if I knew when it fired I may be able to work around that barrier.Any help would be great.

only used on cold start, i'm running a ra ecu with only 4 injectors now.

i would think you would have to remove the 5th injector wiring and then your possumlink would work

so not for xtra fueling when engine under load at top end

i was told it was just for cold start

i am running larger injectors now tho.... has been dyno'd and all was pretty normal. cold start is pretty rough tho!

Well that was a waste of money lol, will stay with a standard intake and shave ICV housing off, well got a intake to sell now, BUGGER

Possumn will run with out it I was told, or was i told wrong

Iirc it will run without it but there is no benefit to removing it, I looked at doing a similar thing because I needed to make room for a larger intercooler. Are you going to run the tune that's already on the possum link? Not a good idea imo

no was going to take it in for a tune once in 1 piece

i have run a g1 link on a rb30 without a aicv - its fine without a cold start - hell ive ran heaps of cars with stock ecus without aicv and its fine - my current sr20det has the aicv taken off

just same idle hot and cold - the water temp sensor richens her up when cold and it doesnt stall out when cold

when its causing idle problems - nissan ones are different to suby ones - nissan ones cause lots of issues - runs smooth as without it

people normally remove on suby to flip manifold with stock power steer pump (ver 1-4)

they can leak with allot of boost (nissan ones can anyway) havent herd of suby ones leaking
