so I converted my legacy over the last two days and have now started it up and she runs ruff as as in video but also not showen is it then suddenly redlines for no reason. Now in regards to what has been done is replaced manifold with a complete v4sti including the loom, vf23, split rail mod, coil pack mod, equal length headers,4g ecu with 6s ecu

Now with the wireing I wired the ignitor as in gazzys write up running the two wires to the ecu(a9, a10) hardwired the ground(also tried wired into a generic groung wire) and the blue and red to the coil pack,

relocated o2 sensor to downpipe

swiched wire to read correct bcs

cheaked that cam and crank sensor are round the right way witch thay were,

now in stumped, any ideas appreciated, cheers

Are you using twin OEM fuel pressure regulators? Or an aftermarket FPR with a gauge?

The only time mine has tried to redline, is when I didn't fit the accelerator cable properly at the TB. Is your throttle plate closing completely at idle?

My old coupe had a problem where I would be driving around - pull up to lights and put clutch in and the revs would rise to redline unless the engine is killed

Problem would disappear after a few pushes of accelerator (engine off)

Happened a couple times before I found the small little rubber bung thing on throttle cable had slipped down and was holding throttle plate/butterfly open

Simply slid it back up and put it back in place and never had the problem again!

Just detached throttle cable and she runs better at 2400rpm holding, dropping off to 600rpm, but got a new cel 24 ( iacv) , this which when I replaced was clear of any crud, but will swap over incase it is bung, cheers Rosssub hope this fixes my problem. Will do once rain stops and let u know how I got on.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
