How much (roughly) are the following parts

for a 2001 GTB:

- Rear diff bushes

- Shift linkage bushes

I haven't looked at them yet but I expect they're both a bit tired so I'm wondering how much I have to budget for the parts. I'll probably do the shift linkage job myself but I hear the diff bushes are a pita so I'll probably get someone else to do those lol!

Diff bushes are about $70 each (2 needed).

There are 2 different setups for the linkage bushes. First one (usually early models like BC, BF, BD, BG) is 4 bushes at $10ish each. Second setup is 2 bushes and 1 complete knuckle. Same bushes as above, but the knuckle is around $80.

I finally got underneath and had a look this arvo... the diff bushes don't seem to be cracked or fatigued.

Unfortunately I don't have a jack to get under and check out the linkage at the mo but now I have more of an idea of what I'm looking at that'll help.

Ok, so the gear stick in my Legacy rattles in third and sometimes in second at certain engine speeds.

The car came from Japan with an STI short shift kit fitted and Sublab just said "it's normal".

So I've been living with it but I really don't think it is normal. So I got underneath the car today and had my flatmate wiggle the gear stick while I watched the linkage. I'm not sure I saw the entire linkage but what I did see didn't seem to have any slop in it. In fact, the linkage looked clean and new.

Soooooo, what are my troubleshooting options now. Any ideas?

I've already had a look at that too. The ball joint in the bottom didn't seem to have any play in it and the joint above it was tight and seemed ok too.

Maybe I just need to grab a little of your time for you to take a look lol!

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
