Link g4 - install vs orice

hi guys

im finally in the looks for a g4 link - question is i want to know in wellington who would be the best to do it STM qoutes 3.3k is this the best price around seems real expensive as a mate did the same link in hi s v3 sti for 2.5 in auckland GCP.

who wold you guys recommend and is there a diff bwteen a plug and wire in kit?

i dont even mind getting it done in palmy if i need too :)/

i think keith some body does it install and tune for $2200? hes from fielding. a few guys been ussing him.

there is also shreds, i dont have their price but funkytown and a viv's got their car done there.

G4 comes in a couple of different models, the base plugin should do pretty much anything you need on a standardish motor. And its heaps cheaper to install and setup too cos theres heaps less wiring etc to deal with.

I imagine STMs price isnt just purchase of ECU and install, but includes dyno tuning etc and they are a business so they are gonna give you a price that factors in that things might take longer than is normal - ie the quote from STM should be all inclusive, so really isnt unreasonable.

Shred will be able to do exactly the same and they do good work (I wont deny Im biased though!). Give Aaron a call on (04) 569-7469 and say Vivian told you to talk to him.

Jon (Funkytown) will be able to give some unbiased feedback on them too as he has recently had work done by them.
