Ok so i have just finished putting the UEC through mrs sti.. HELL..... What a difference!!! The car runs so much smoother and feels completely different. It boosts cleaner punches like it should and generally feels great! I would recommend this to everyone. Going out to do my racecar now..

Picked myself up 2 cans from Palmfeild in Palmy today. One for my racecar and one for mrs sti.. Cost me $20.60+gst each.

Do what i do in mrs WRX....... Turn up the sounds..

I'm thinking that it would be a good idea for one (or more) of the Auckland lads to take you for a wee spin in one of their cars... If you have never been in a turbo car your in for a treat!!!

Right..... Gizzmo is in and setup. set at 50% duty and a gain of 10psi. The old girl boosts hard and spools up nice as a nice thing. She holds a nice steady 14.5psi. It feels like a completely different car. Look out Manfield here i come.

I have thought about doing my girl up to look like this but thought if i did i would be to scared to take it out to gravel events..

Fitted the controller up tonight... Now to set it up and test it tomorrow ( while mrs is at work...!)LOL

Have they ever said why the force 10 cannot be used in the older cars.. Only problems i could think would be 1 older rubber seals. 2 cat converter.. 3 o2 sensor fouling.. Not sure.. 1 not shown up yet on mine. 2 i have no cat. Bet not many people still do. LOL 3 has not shown up as a problem yet.. (maybe over time?) Fuck it... I'm going to start my usual 20 litre can a week purchase of force 10 for raceday..

Sorry to drag up an old post... BUT The last couple of track days i have filled up on Gull good force 10.. I was having a wee surf looking at different fuels and fond this.. Those Subarus which can use the 10 percent ethanol blended fuel have a 17 digit VIN number beginning with either JF1 or JF2. The VIN number can be found at the bottom of the central door pillar on the passenger�€™s side of the car or in the engine bay. The second hand Japanese imports which should not use the ethanol blended fuel have VIN numbers starting with 7A8 A small number of models sold new in New Zealand cannot use the 10 percent blended fuel. They are.- Legacy RS, Legacy GT, Legacy GTB, Legacy RSK and Legacy Blitzen from 1990 onwards; the Impreza STI from 1997 onwards and the Forester STI. They do not have JF1 or JF2 VIN numbers. Owners who are not sure if they can use the ethanol-blended fuel in their car should consult their nearest Subaru Authorized Dealer. mine is 3" all the way through 1 small resonator in the centre and a ricer cannon muff at the back. It's way quieter than mrs sti.. Kinda sad when your Mrs WRX is louder than your racecar :'( :'(

if anyone wants to hear a set in action come to playday on track and hear mine... Still got rumble at idle but agree with boostcut.. on boost sound like a evo/lancia... Funny sound. but wicked
