lets see...there was one parked in my driveway last night, my dad has one as his drive car pretty often and ive taken them for a spin when he brings them home.
isf is mean, driven a couple. definitely come along way from what lexus used to be. it IS competition for the bmw m3, imo m3 slightly better, but only just. its a bit of a toss up really. theyve sold quite a few already
exide imo are absolute shit. we get heaps that are fucked waaay before warranty. we sell endurant, get hardly any comebacks. usually if its within a month or 2 out of warranty endurant will still honour it too. get an AC delco if you want a good battery
exactly. the $400 bill is quite fair. it obviously took a while to trace the fault to its exact location, all the while tiome is being charged out. no1 works for free, time is money and it just happens that unfortunately your car took a lot of time
we drive subarus, chances are someones gonna have a go at some point anyway. i had a mean idea for a kill switch...gotta try it then i might leak the idea to a few people...
strut bush (getting one made by autolign) rh control arm bush (again autoligns sorting one for me, gotta come from palmy though) and seatbelt not retracting which either just needs a bit of freeing up or ill replace it. pm me or txt me on 0211793066 if you wanna no more. or msn me [email protected]
they drift easier turning right ive found, and my one will step out no probs on primary, usually im not even trying to it just does it. i just clutch in or keep the wheel straight ish to keep it straight.
fault found! the two bolts holding the intercooler piping onto the secondary turbo were tight, but not tight enough to seal under pressure! so it looked like they were tight but they were far from it. i had no idea how badly it was running till i took it for a run after tightening the bolts. holy crap lol oodles of power again and no cold start hassles!
yeap i think so....ill take some photos tomorrow. no vac lines have been removed and put back on or anything though so its a problem that has arisen for whatever reason.
havnt checked yet didnt have enough time. tbh it really sounds like a leak, if you accelerate lightly and just get it off vacuum (nearly on boost) then back right off, it makes that noise. which would make me think the pressurised air is leaking somewhere?
i didnt notice it straight away, i was just thinking, about 10 mins into the journey after trying to taker the pipe off then tightening it back on, that noise started. replaced one worn vac line today- no change. thought it was leaking but no
