What colour is it man? Is it the type that sits on the intake pipe on these? If it is green I will unplug mine and you can give it a quick drive, otherwise my other Subaru has an orange one and I have a purple one somewhere too.
I thought they had one mid way back, and one at the Y pipe? Just cut them out and put some pipe in there. If you are getting a reflash all good, otherwise you may encounter problems with overspooling due to back pressure. I think. Thats what I have learnt on here
If the temporary top hats solved the problem for a while, then that might indicate the problem is the top hats or something in the suspension. Did they replace both or just one side?
When the weather clears up I will take and put some up
So some time next year
There was a lapse haha. Here is how they look. Excuse the poor quality photos, cellphone camera
Failed a WOF yesterday. All the usual reasons, too low, too loud and tyres. Going to VADZTER's today to borrow his sweet rims till he gets his car back on the road
Put the thermostat in boiling water and if it doesn't open the thermostat is toast. But I wouldn't say that just removing it is a good idea. I would rather replace it with one that works (if it's broken) or find out why it's overheating.
I would be soo pissed ... make that complant man doo it ...
and loling pit stop GI ...
Pitstop GI. Didnt have time to do it myself. Laid a huge complaint. Went in there, the guy has been fired, said that wasnt good enough, waiting for call from head office
Check you codes
:edit: what he means is, have a search on the forum for the process to check for CEL's if you dont know how., and report back what the codes are you're getting.
Its really easy to check and diagnose yourself, then we can help you with what the fix might be.
:edit:
Got my radiator hose changed at Pit Stop. Got in my car afterwards, it stunk of pot and half a tank of gas was gone. I am going to make the worlds biggest complaint
Update:
This morning I refilled the radiator and it only took about 700mls maybe less. There is no signs of water on the dip stick or the oil filler cap. Now I want to get it to a workshop. Anyone wanna give me a tow?
