Im looking at some suspension on trademe for my R Rears are STI from an MY06 Fronts are STI from MY03 Any ideas if these will fit and what affect they will have on the car if they do?

is this the pull type solenoid just in front of the TPS ? if so yes i pulled it out about 6 weeks ago and is was very gunked up with what appeared like soft tar , cleaned it with electric contact cleaner and refitted. This improved some issues but didnt fix totaly

Yeah sometimes but not all the time. Last night when we stopped at the lights it was jumping between a near stall and 1500ish rpm did this for about 10 seconds then stopped when given some throttle. (has never done this before tho usually just a few hundred rpm) Also most issues seem to go when warmed up.

TPS Voltage I have been doing some checks today basically trying to eleminate things ( have been having intermitent surging issues) When testing the TPS iv got 5.1 volt input and output goes from 0.52V to 3.8V The resting output voltage seems to vary tho , between 0.44V and 0.54V Is this normal?? OK , For a few months now our GTB has had an issue that is slowly getting worse. Basically when its cold it has what I thought was a miss but am now thinking it feels more like the trans surging between gears , as while its doing it the revs stay solid yet the car surges very badly. So thought it may be low on trans fluid and checked it only to find when it was hot the level was about an inch over the full mark on the dipstick. Question is , is the high level likely to cause this sort of issue. ? have checked trans codes and got nowhere. Any help much appreciated

Yeah thats the good thing about living in the hood , all the theifs go to the good neighbourhoods to get good stuff. Both our subbys are 5 star alarmed / insured / and garaged when possible.

Just a question for you guys who have had cars stolen - Did you have an alarm/immobiliser ? - Was your car registered as a wrx/sti/r/ra ect or just impreza/legacy ?

what tires do you use? i never once lost it in the wet unless its those cheap budget tires like direzza z101 nangkang linglong kingstar roadstone triangles I have 18" Bridgestone S03's . I have only lost it once when I first got it and was driving very enthusiasticly. They are fine once you get use to them just different if your use to AWD.

Negatives - 2 Door ( if you care ) Cabin and boot are same as a sedan just different access - High revving at highway speed due to short gearing - Can be very loose in the wet Positives -Lots of well priced examples around at the moment -IMO should hold their value better long term -Awesome performance -DCCD = Fun -Stiffer chassis -Great braking ( I personally prefer the non abs ) We regularly have our friends todler in the back and have no trouble getting the car seat in and out.

I have one that is good , was replaced when only a few months old as suspected faulty but turned out to be something else. wanting $100 firm + postage tho as I know its good.
