make your own gasket from acl gasket paper. you can get it from ripco or supercrap. did the issue arise just after you replaced the vac hoses? is it the cheapest vac hose you could get? could be possible that the wall of the hose isnt strong so under vacuum the hose sucks together and closes up

there the 2 hoses off the waterpump. they both feed up to the top of the engine .... one to your heater core/water for throttlebody and idle controll valve and the other one to the top tank on the manifold. there should also be another on the opposite side of the waterpump which goes to the oil cooler/warmer but some cars dont have them but turbo models should. easiest way to replace them would be find some more from a wrecker. if its not the 2 that are leaking it could be the thermostat housing which is next to the other 2 hoses (the big rad hose connects to it)

Why wont a 2.5 rev till 9? I never said a smaller housing just change for a twin scroll. My mazda lantis could make 300kw with tuning so whats a chev got to do with anything

Just stating the with thoes items power pand wil be moved compleetly. @ 4.5 its making 125kw with a drag car prob dosent matter but making 300kw @ 4.5k with just a diff exhaust housing and headers would make such a diff even with a 2l In saing that wait till he gets nos to see. Deff go 6 speed as long as it has the linkages ect. Otherwise a cheep 6 speed will quickly turn vey expencive

no knock was tuned last night and was all clear (and to pull timing it would need a knock sensor ) , as you can see on the plot the boost held solid so thats all good , maxing out 1600cc injectors would be very very impressive (the highest duty we got was 58% ) Is that my old HX40?? Nice to finally see it in action if it is yep sure is your old turbo its doing its job very nicely yup i think its probably more head gaskets but could possibly be heads lifting . not sure after talking to the guy a spec he said hes had 10mm head studs way past 300kw just with diff gaskets. lol - max power for 10sec it makes it for alot longer then 10 secs wana come for a drive there more left in it as is . but plan is to move this shortblock on . get a closed deck sleeved,o ringed,forged . turbo sent to mr murch and turn the boost up a bit job done . with alot more supporting mods

so we sat down and did some calcs because the graph shows road speed. turns out that they stopped the car (or graph) @6200rmp and was making 315wkw @ 4700 rpm (fuck YEA!) my rpm limit is set @ 8200rmp so had there not been issues who knows

Yea but on the road that shouldnt happen(sump running.dry) . I recken most bebs come from wrong fuel in nz ..... Detonation then beb lets go soon after. Best protection is correct fuel/tune and regular services
