It's literally a 30 second job
The one labelled "Hose 10?" - all that needs to happen is for this hose to be blocked. Cut it and use screws to seal, cable tie it in half, whatever floats your boat.
That is literally the minimum required and will achieve what you are wanting
The tidy way to do it is removing the blue T piece, replace the hose to the BOV with one long one, repeat the same with the other junction under the BOV outlet.
Regarding your intercooler, it's just people leaning on it or resting tools etc on it. It's about the only thing the top mount is good at. You can just bend the fins back to straight
Tune will categorically void the warranty if they pick it up. You're changing a very major part of how the engine runs
Boost pressure plays a small part, but I can still show you how to blow an engine up with half of stock boost
edit - basically anything you do non cosmetic will void a warranty. Weigh up if it's worth it, gambling it will be fine is a fools game
No, well, it's being very nit picky to bother. Given how exact the young fella at bridgestone is likely to be with the alignment it's probably pointless
You'd probably drop 5mm between a full and empty gas tank anyway
I've tried it on my GTB, didn't work. Does work with FreeSSM but not ecuflash, does work with romraider and let you do global timing adjustment but nothing more
ECU in mine is a rough enough equivalent to yours
To be fair I didn't try many ways to make it work, just pinched the proper cable instead
Downpipe + tune = 160-180wheel kw
Dead stock hovers around 140ish wheel KW, same as the older RSK / GTB shape makes too
Remember 200wkw is in the ballpark of 350 crank hp, it's a fair hike over stock 260/275. And peak numbers don't remotely tell the whole story, they make awesome low down and oomph and for "normal" driving feel really healthy at that level
^^ GOOD, another convert to the semi darkside
Today I used it to move 2 lawnmowers, two labradors, reloaded on my "do sweet backfires" tune and L'ed my A O, embarassed an LS1 clubsport on a motorway onramp and contemplated what, if anything, I wanted to do to it next
#wagonlife
They get to 160-180kw @ wheel, depends on how happy the dyno is
A new stock paper filter would probably be just as good, it's more one of those "rule it out" things
If anyone's curious
Before and after - long story short, up top there is no change, however from about 3k to 4500 there's a literal 50% difference in power. Granted it behaves different loaded up in higher gears, but still, avoid it
Yeah probably, the way I tried it first was it only got pressure once boost was over 10psi, so anything under 3/4 throttle it drove perfectly normal. Trying it straight from the manifold gave the same spastic result you had
Yeah I found the same this morning without the pressure switch. Theory is good, in practise it's sh!t. Not sure how the aussie guys found it any different or maybe they never actually did it?
We'll consign that plan to the bin, haha
I read it as: I want it to look better and DGAF about the rest
Here, buy this

Bolt it on, enjoy newfound noise
Bleed the brakes, see if they get better, next step chuck on good pads or drive more normally
Tune will do nothing for sound, just gives you more power and better economy
