  1. yo . my manager is taking a ute and a tandem trailer from levin / welly back to chch on tuesday/wednesday . ive already got a g box and 6x hubs and someother shit im throwing in it . a wing wont be any more trouble . 02108211614 if ya want ill get you to drop it at the depot in newlands . or maybe able to meet you somewhere
  2. drill new holes through the actuator bracket where ever they line up with bolt holes in the comp housing . use the left over tab things around the rest of it thats what i did on loganrasti \'s car ;D edit . that was a vf23 . looking at pic it wont work on a TDopuu
  3. when they rebuilt it they woulda slopped oil all over it ./ assembly lube blah blah . they dont put them together dry . my mate put a rebuilt box in his hilux and drove round for 3 days before it made any noise and then he figured out it had no oil in it could always pop the cover off the lid at the rear and have a look . look in the drain bung too

  5. was half expacting it to be a old carby pos lol um does it have one that bolts into something ? eg the afm isnt a whole piece of pipe just a sensor that screws into a housing . is it on the bottom of that bit near the air box ?

  8. front part of passenger foot well . like the floor is flat . then kicks up on a 45 angle up to the fire wall . its on the 45 degree part pull back the carpet .
  9. if the fuel pump is only pumping 3/4 as much as it should the car will be flat in the upper revs / max power . similar to a blocked fuel filter

  12. have you done your fuel pump and filter ? thatll prolly wake it up a lot . your 4x 370 injectors + a 100 cc 5th injector arent much down on the total of 4x440 ones anyway you have a tdo5 aye ? coz a tdo4 wont feel that lively past 100

  14. depends on where and how your wastegate is plumbed , manifold design , how it re joind the exhaust ...
  15. oh ffs is what doopersoopersubaru rambling bout now . sr20 is clean and functional i would do these things differently put cooler where rad is . move rad back .change piping also push fans = fail but lots of things i do = fail so ??? also pull the sticker off the rad cap . makes it look like 4% less DSR spec lol
  16. yep add them all up . they come with 4 different diameters of springs to put inside each other to achieve desired ratio
  17. if you bought a new head unit you wont need one . failing that it goes in line with the aerial cable . plug the band expander into the aerial plug on the head unit and the aerial plugs into the band expander . and wire the red wire to the red for the head unit
  18. your head unit will have 2 blue wires out they should be labeled one is amp signal :turns on the amd anytime the head unit is on other (usually lighter blue) is the areial signal . it puts out 12 volt only when you are listening to the tuner i put the aerial one to the amp once when i was younger and got mega fucked off coz amp went on radio and not on anything else and really made no sense to me at all . was prolly 16 at the time as for finding the aerial wire either google colours or flick the spare wires at a 12volt souce and see if aerial kickes into life or just wire it to the amp wire and it will stay up the whole time . i hate listening to the half broken aerial in the legacy try and go up and down when i change from cd to fm . failing that just yank the thing up with pliers and be done with it

  20. kinda like my airbag removal . remove anything airbag related and while changing the dash to a carbon one put in the sti tach with no airbag symbol . gotta love V3
  21. bolt cutters wont get through that chain . its better than it looks . car aint going anywhere . its mainly for when im out . if it looks hard to steal the oppertunists will move onto something else
  22. youd go to all that effort and then put a $350 turbo on it ? thrashed car . played with boost controller and adjustable afm a bit . goes fkn mint now also installed extra security ....
